There are snow-capped mountains on three sides, the White Horse Snow Mountain on the left, the Goddess Peak and the Five Crowns Peak facing each other, and the General Peak and Kawagebo's head on the right. It should be the best location in the whole Yubeng. The overall view is very clean, and the only regret is that the wooden structure is not soundproof.

Yourland Hotel is run and operated by a very hard working lady who essentially does everything herself - from welcoming guests, cooking breakfast, cleaning the rooms and washing the bed sheets & laundry. The rooms are very clean and neatly organised, it has all the comforts that any hiker should need in such a remote location that is high up in the mountains (e.g. electric blankets, warm showers, etc.) Please do note that the warm water does need sometime to reheat especially if another guest takes a shower right away after the first guest. It will not be sufficient time for the water heating machine to heat the water. You should take note of the number that is displayed on the water heater. By default in our room, it showed the number of 44 and after the first guest took the shower, it went down to 19. If someone takes a shower right away at that moment, it will be cold so the next person should wait a bit until the number displayed moves up. The views in the morning are amazing as you can see the mountain ranges on three different sides so you get a very good panoramic view from the terrace of the hotel. After a long day of hiking, our moods were lightened up when we were welcomed by the friendly and playful Labrador Retriever whose name is Dou Dou. Such a lovely dog ＜3. I would recommend you to stay here if you are looking for a place to stay in Upper Yubeng, it's good base for your planned hikes to the Glacier Lake and Nise Ranch. The place might be a bit difficult to locate if you arrive in Yubeng late at night (like we did since we walked all the way from Ninong, which was really tiring), but once you get the gist of it, it's very easy to remember and locate.

After looking at several hotels, I finally decided to stay here. The location is great, facing the snow-capped mountains. Just lie on the bed and open the curtains, and you don't have to wait outside with your hands and feet frozen for the sun to shine on the golden mountains and the moon to shine on the silver mountains. There is a piano in the homestay, which is very special. At night, I sat around the fire and read books, and suddenly I felt like I had been here before. The boss happened to come to Yubeng that day. He was very nice. He was from Guangdong. After chatting, I found out that the ”Snow Mountain Wake Up” homestay we stayed in Feilai Temple was also his. It was a coincidence that the location was also very good. The boss must be obsessed with the snow-capped mountains.

Overall is vaule for money compared with the other hotels in the neighborhood. The staff is friendly. She explained the necessary things to know of the area and how to use the equipment in the room. The room was a bit old but understandable. There were a heater and bed warmer provided. Only thing to comment are the toletries that came in the a few sachets which will be better if they can provide in the refilled-bottle. Breakfast is normal for us which can be a bit better in terms of variety. The hotel has a good view at the rooftop but if you want to take a picture of the Snow Mountain, I still recommend to walk 5-minutes to the observation deck.

Awesome location, I loved my stay at 下雨崩, there is more of a village atmosphere to it. The staff was very friendly, and the guesthouse was very well located, especially to hike to the Yubeng Waterfall and the Ninong Valley. Would recommend.

This hotel perfectly meets my needs. It has a balcony facing the 13 peaks of Meili Mountain and a small restaurant where you can cook hot dishes (no need to climb the hillside of Feilai Temple to find food). Before placing an order, I read the reviews on Ctrip. After staying there, I found that everyone gave it genuine positive reviews. (1) I took a bus from Shangri-La to Feilai Temple. After getting off the bus and making a phone call for two or three minutes, the boss came to pick me up, helped me carry my luggage, and introduced the room facilities. On the way back, the boss also helped me carry my luggage to the boarding point. The hotel is actually very close to the boarding point, but it takes about 100 meters to climb the slope. There is a big difference between walking this slope with or without altitude sickness. (2) Each room will be given a cup of warm yak milk before going to bed, and there is plenty of mineral water (this is very important). (3) The dishes in the restaurant taste good, the portions are large, and the prices are very reasonable in Feilai Temple. (4) If you like taking photos, you can take beautiful photos of the sunrise on the balcony of the room without squeezing in the crowds and freezing in the morning. (5) Some minor shortcomings: The oxygen concentrator is a little loud, but of course people who don't need it can ignore this. The toilet has no door, which is not private enough.
