We thoroughly enjoyed our 7 night stay at Another Residence. From the free airport pickup/dropoff to the tea tastings and staff who go above and beyond. The location is right in the heart of Shuhe old Town and our Garden room was cozy and very peaceful. The room was rustic, large and clean and we spent large parts of the day simply chilling here. There is even a dedicated tea drinking area in the room to try puer tea daily. The island bar/cafe is a beautiful setting to have breakfast or an afternoon tea by the water. There are also multiple places indoor and outdoor to brew up tea provided by the residence. We were left alone to do as we pleased but any questions were answered immediately- such as ways to find the old tea horse path. We travelled as a couple but this is a great place for groups or families wanting to soak in this peaceful environment. Hopefully we can come back soon!

I brought a friend here this time. Before I came, my friend looked at the order and asked why it was so expensive? I explained that it included breakfast, a hot pot meal, and some activities. The most important thing was that it had a 360-degree view, so there was really no need to visit scenic spots. You can see the snow-capped mountains and the golden mountains illuminated by sunshine from your room. After returning home, my friend said it was worth it! Really worth it! Room: I am a starry sky duplex suite with 360-degree floor-to-ceiling windows and skylights. It can be said that there is a view outside the windows, the floor is heated throughout the house, and short-sleeved shirts are worn on the second floor during the day in December. There are incense sticks, multiple humidifiers, and it’s full of details. Restaurant: The hot pot set menu and stir-fry dishes in the hotel are delicious and there are no surprises. It completely subverts the concept of ”Can hotel restaurants be delicious? Let's go out to eat something special.” The hotel restaurants are all special and taste great. The breakfast rice noodles are rich in toppings. There are beef brisket, special stone pot chicken, white-cut yak meat, and chanterelles. If the hotel's breakfast wasn't so rich, I would definitely have had another meal at noon to experience a few more dishes. In addition to breakfast and dinner, afternoon tea, good night sweet soup, and fruit are delivered to the room. There are also snacks and drinks in the refrigerator, all for free. Activities: As soon as we entered the hotel, the housekeeper pulled us into the group. The activity schedule will be notified in the group. In the evening, the hotel will have a bonfire party or make tea and watch movies around the fire. These are free. Because there were so many people, the hotel contacted Murakami’s battery car the next morning to take us to Longnv Lake to see Rizhao Jinshan Mountain. We only had to pay the driver 20 yuan per person for the ride. The Longnu Lake attraction is free, and the most important thing is! nobody! I almost froze to death in Ganhaizi a few days ago because of the huge crowds of people. There are Yuzhu Qingtian, Longnu Lake, and Locke Memorial Hall nearby. You can ride horses, stroll around the village, and stare at the snow-capped mountains in a daze. At night, you can see the stars and bend down to see the bright lights of Lijiang at the foot of the mountain. If I have another chance to come to Lijiang, I will definitely stay here.

The lady boss is from Cantonese. If you have similar tastes, you can ask the lady boss where to eat. The biggest flaw of this B&B is that it is far away from the ancient city, but the B&B provides a shuttle service to the ancient city, which is perfect~😆

The location is quite good. The B&Bs in Lugou Lake are not close to the lake. The local environmental protection awareness is very strong, but the effect is indeed good. There is no road on the side of Sichuan close to the lake, which is very quiet and comfortable. There are many restaurants on the back of Sichuan, which is convenient for eating. There is a parking lot, which is self-driving friendly. The brothers and sisters are very good at service and treatment. The B&B also has some afternoon tea and evening butter tea services. There is a stove in the living room at night, you can drink tea and wine by the stove, chat and watch movies, and the atmosphere is very good. It must be a good B&B. The brothers and sisters added a special WeChat group, which is meticulous. The breakfast is also very good, divided into two sets of Chinese and Western styles, with self-service bread, fruit, milk and coffee to drink. Although there are not many varieties, they are very delicate and hygienic, and the taste is also good. There is a wetland and trail at the entrance of the B&B, which is very nice for viewing and walking; I also happened to see the sunrise in the morning, which was particularly beautiful. Next time I come, I can stay in the B&B directly and not go anywhere. If you take a boat to tour the lake, I suggest you ask the nearby hotels. It only costs 200 yuan to charter a boat in the off-season, which is cheaper than taking a boat at the pier. If you go around Lugou Lake, you don’t need to do much strategy, because there are signboards along the way, and you will know where the scenic spots are while walking around. In fact, you don’t need to go to the scenic spots specifically, just go to the places that look good.

Everyone in the hotel were so kind and helpful and made our stay in Lijiang perfect. A special thanks to Xiao Gao and Beibei for going out of their way to make our stay special. The hotel is located in the ancient city and close to the entrance which makes it easily accessible. The breakfast was great and the cook is excellent. The room was very clean and comfortable and the heater works really well.
