CCoracoreycorzThis hotel is just a few meters away from Dongyang Yintai so it’s really easy to find and it’s convenient as the shopping center has a variety of restaurants, cafes and other shops. Their staff members don’t speak English at all but they did provide good service. They even offered us tea when we mentioned there was none in our room. They also helped us reheat our food.
I guess the downside is that it doesn’t really have other amenities like pool or spa but we were just there for one night anyway so it wasn’t a big deal. Considering the location and the service, it’s definitely good value for money.
I’d probably stay here again if I ever come back to Dongyang.

YyichenhuangI had a wonderful and unforgettable stay in the most expensive hotel in Hengdian. From the quality of the accommodations to the dining experiences and cultural explorations, I was impressed by every detail here.
First, I stayed in a hotel view room, where I could overlook the picturesque lake and surrounding natural landscape. All the equipment in the room are of high quality, very cultural, modern and high-end. This made me feel very comfortable and relaxed, allowing me to quickly adapt to this wonderful environment.
Also make a reservation for the wonderful experience of Teppanyaki dining from a private chef. The warm and elegant private dining area made me feel very comfortable. While dining, professional chefs cooked a variety of delicious dishes on the spot, which not only tasted delicious, but also gave me a great visual enjoyment. The beautiful chef has very good cooking skills, and I was very satisfied with the delicious Teppanyaki. It's clear that the dining experience here is outstanding and something you can't miss.
In addition to the teppanyaki experience, I also visited a private wood carving museum, which made me very excited and curious. At the museum, I learned a lot about the history and techniques of traditional Chinese woodcarving craftsmanship. This knowledge made me feel very meaningful. This was a great cultural exploration experience and I gained a lot of knowledge. This visit is limited to tenants by appointment only

JJialumeimeiDuring the May Day holiday, I took my kids to Hengdian to attend the celebrity festival. I saw on Ctrip that Fengjing Jiali was the best hotel in Hengdian, so I decided to stay for four days. The location is excellent, in a bustling area, and it is also very close to Dream Valley and Qin Palace, only more than one kilometer away. Every day, there is a butler who provides attentive service and gives away hotel snacks. The view from the room is also quite good, refreshing. I had a very happy stay and will come again next time

OOtoyaWe chose this hotel because of its non-smoking policy [a lot of hotels in this town allow guests to smoke in the room]. We spent one day in a suite and one day in a 2-bed ”mountain view” room [view from our windows in the pictures] The 2-bed room was huge, 120cm beds, no fridge. The suite seemed bigger in the photos, nice, with a fridge and very big bathroom. Both rooms with A.C., both equipped with a universal charger, a tea set with 2 bottles of water 0,5l each, both with intelligent Xiao Du light, courtains, tv and wc system, windows equipped with mosquito nets. ”Mountain view” and some photos suggest 'Zen' style high end neighbourhood, but in reality it is a very, very regular chinese neighbourhood. There is only chinese name on the hotel building I think. We arrived one hour before the check-in time and get the room without any problem. The young female receptionist was extremely helpful and polite, used the translator app to communicate. She helped us to buy the right tickets and a hotel menager accompanied us to the nearest ticket office. The hotel is very close to the Qin palace and Dream Valley. There are 2 tourist bus lines (A and B) connecting most of the scenic spots, every 30 min, a ticket costs 2 r.m.b. one can pay in cash in the bus, this bus service stops about 4.30 p.m. Apple maps app works OK, google maps app does not work in China. We took a taxi from Yiwu station (1 hour) to get to the hotel, 170 r.m.b. and about 43 km one way if one goes the shortest way or 220 r.m.b. and about 63 km via highway, a taxi from Qingming palace costs about 20 r.m.b. There is an annual ticket for 898 r.m.b., this ticket is for one adult plus one child or just one adult - all 13 scenic spots included [Dream Valley excluded], one can enter each scenic spot only once a day. I think 2 scenic spots in one day is a max, maybe 3 because most of the spots closes about 4.30 p.m., only one or two are closing about 8 p.m. There is no printed ticket only passport data in their system so you enter by showing the passport.The Hengdian Studios I think are not prepared for foreign tourists at all. Their printed map is very small, hard to read, does not show enter gates or ticket offices, their website is not helping, in theory there is an English version but with very little information, the chinese website is better but still not very helpful, there is no list of all 13 scenic spots or the opening hours, only information about the major ones.

Xxinhui shelwynI really enjoyed my stay at Hengdian, Half Summer. It’s not too crowded, I don’t have to wait for the lift for too long unlike in a hotel. Check in was a breeze. The staff there were friendly and helpful. For breakfast, you can choose either Chinese style or western style. I preferred the Chinese style breakfast. The bed was comfortable and I was able to have a good sleep every night. The shower always had hot water, even the basin as well. Basic toiletries were provided. The staff even provided complimentary mineral water (daily) and fruits as well. I could also order food delivery.
The location is wonderful. I took a high speed train from Shanghai Hongqiao to Yiwu station, then from Yiwu station, I took a cab to 凌云 Lingyun Metro/Light Rail station. Then I took the metro/light rail from 凌云 Lingyun to 明清宫 Ming Qing Palace.
Once I exit the metro/Light Rail station, I took didi to the hotel directly.
From the hotel, it is only a 10-15 mins walk to 2 local night markets and bubble tea shops. Not to mention that the attractions are also just a short didi away.
The only thing that I hoped they provided was local tv channels. They do have a projector, but one would have to subscribe to watch local shows.

QQuanminThe transportation is very convenient. It is located in the middle of the scenic spots on both sides of Hengdian, so it costs about 10 yuan to take a taxi to Hong Kong Street or Qingming Shanghe Tu. From the high-speed rail station, you only need to take the subway and then change a bus to get there. There is a supermarket and night market downstairs, which is very convenient for eating and shopping. Luckin Coffee, Cudi, KFC and McDonald's are all available.
The hotel upgraded us to a theme room with the theme of the Sea of Love. The blue atmosphere makes people feel bright when they enter the room, especially after a day of playing in the hotel. The clean and tidy room is very comfortable. The dry and wet separated bathroom allows everyone to wash without disturbing each other.
Sitting on the recliner in the room, the scenery outside is very good. Although it is in the downtown area, there is no noise at night when it is time to go to bed, so there is no need to worry about the room by the roadside.
The service is warm and in place, and I give a thumbs up to the staff👍

Aanj726I loved my stay at Holiday Inn Hotel Dongyang!
The hotel is right across Qin Palace, and also close to Dream Valley so if you arrive in Hengdian early, you will be able to go to two Hengdian sites in one day.
Thank you to all the kind staff who helped me, even though there was a language barrier, still they were able to make my stay in Hengdian way fun! Kevin helped me check in earlier than what was noted in the reservation. Winter, who works during the graveyard shift helped me figure out the shooting location of a drama that is not in Hengdian, and Wendy Guo helped me connect with a Didi driver and let me order food via her phone.
The food choices are good since I'm not really familiar with Chinese cuisine. I was able to stuff myself up before going out. You have to eat a heavy breakfast as the Hengdian sites are huge, loads of walking to do!
The hotel is also like 10-15 minutes away (by car) to the Ming-Qing Palace metro station.
