Welbeck Hotel & Apartments

Lovely hotel. The service was exceptional, I can't praise the staff enough. The room was cosy and had nice views to the seafront. The breakfast was delicious and there was a good choice (no veggie option but it was still possible to order only the non-meat options like eggs and mushrooms). I would definitely recommend this hotel

We were a party of 11 people in the Isle of Man for a competition and it was very busy so there was limited choice for accommodation, I may have overlooked this hotel as it looked a bit dated but that would have been a huge mistake - this hotel was superb, it had a lovely relaxed atmosphere in the bar area the rooms were large and clean with everything you would need and the breakfast was fantastic. The hosts were great and it was reasonably priced, would recommend to anyone and will definitely stay again. Thank you

We stayed for 7 nights at a difficult time for our family and were very much looked after by the staff here. We’d only booked for 3 nights and had to keep extending at short notice - Lucy was particularly kind and helpful in blocking or switching our room so that we could keep it (and giving others upgrades I’m sure! No one was hard done by because of us!). The price of our room was excellent value and the fact it included (a tasty and plentiful) breakfast a bonus. We didn’t have our room cleaned as my husband had to work in there each day but housekeeping knocked on daily to fill us up with what we needed. We ate in the restaurant and took drinks at the bar; both of which were fine and of good service/quality. The room was warm (a fan would’ve been nice) and the bathroom had toiletries. There is a safe and a hairdryer. The WiFi is speedy. Car parking is free on the side of the road, which is a steep hill so note that if you have mobility issues (the hotel has a ramp to the front door). The thing that makes this hotel is the staff. The young man in the restaurant remembered my drink order every morning and some other staff took the time to frequently ask how things were going. It wasn’t too much trouble to pack a breakfast to take to our room when my husband couldn’t come down for it. We really appreciated the kindness we were shown during our stay here - it made a difficult time a little bit easier. Thank you to everyone for looking after us.

We have just had an amazing weekend made even more special by the fantastic team at the Welbeck. A massive thank you to Lucy who drove to the port to help us out just as we were about board and Mike for coming in early send us off with an amazing breakfast again. If you want to feel genuinely welcomed by everyone at the Welbeck then book this little gem of a hotel. Thanks for everything see you next year !!!

I have stayed here a few times recently, always had an excellent experience, I would recommend the apartments as they are really good value for the size of the accommodation. Breakfasts are very good when I have chance to have it. Rooms are serviced daily unlike a lot of hotels these days.

Fantastic family run hotel. Food amazing as were the staff. Spacious room with excellent bathroom. Bar with option for food in the evening, all reasonably priced. Unable to find fault (and I am picky) with the stay and location was great for what we wanted.

We have been for brunch a few times now and are never disappointed. The staff are friendly and attentive and the food is very good in a pleasant and spotlessly clean setting. For something different, try the green shaksuka and for a treat go for the gypsy toast!

Five of us stayed in The Welbeck for a few days. We stayed in a lovely apartment which was really comfortable. The staff were friendly and did everything to make our stay enjoyable. The breakfasts and evening meals were excellent. We would definitely return.

We only visited for our breakfast and evening meals, the staff looked after us to a point they asked if our friend was feeling better after a day he missed his breakfast. The breakfast were outstanding as were the evening meals Would highly recommend
