The location of the hotel is very good, in the city center, there is a large shopping mall next to it, it is very convenient to get in and out, but there are no attractive attractions there, so it is not worth visiting.

Went in for a portion of coujons and chips for myself and kids and they charged double the price for my meal even though the quantity was exactly the same for both meals. Will not be returning again. We used to regular customers here,but they have lost the plot.

Filthy neglected run-down hotel. Floors hadn't been cleaned, bedclothes not changed and there was a smell of raw sewerage around parts of the hotel. Management should be thoroughly ashamed of themselves and this place should be condemned.

Would not spend a penny in this place neither in the bar restaurant or rooms go to a different town that has rooms for tourism not a town that you will be lucky if you see an Irish person walking across town its a disaster use to be a nice friendly town

Overpriced and definitely not worthy of a 3 star never mind a 4 star The Food was very basic and bland with an awful set menu choice The Bathroom was really dirty with disgusting black hairs on the floor and stains Bed uncomfortable and room had horrible decor I Would not recommend this hotel

So sad to hear that the D Hotel is being used as an immigrant centre. Drogheda will no longer be a safe place to visit. The owners have sold out and have shown their hatred for the people of Drogheda. The same people who spent their hard earned cash in this hotel The largest hotel in Drogheda will be sadly missed by locals and tourists alike. So will their lovely staff

I found the staff at reception very friendly and helpful. Room was clean if not spectacular. At breakfast in the morning the manager was most helpful and looked after me quickly and efficiently. Overall I had a very positive experience and will stay here again

Amazing staff - Hotel was excellent - Highly recommended. 110% ! Went for one night with Family, everything was perfect. Location is excellent - Bar is great - Live music etc.. Could not fault a single thing about the D hotel in Drogheda. Bar staff also excellent and also the reception people.
