Such a beautiful and welcoming hotel! We had the family room on the top floor. It was spacious, the bed was huge and super comfortable, the shower was hot and the toiletries smelled amazing! The view was to the mountains and you could hear all the countryside morning sounds when waking up! The staff are super helpful too! I cannot thank them enough for all the advice and help. Although they do not speak English, we had no problem at all communicating via translator apps. For foreigners, like us, who do not drive — it is worth mentioning, that the hotel is at the end of the road, right in the mountains. You will need a taxi to go anywhere and taxis are more expensive there, because you either need to use local services or pay extra to didi drivers so they agree to drive you up the mountain serpentines. There was no massage, as listed here. It was not a problem for us, we absolutely loved the outdoor pool after a long hike. The restaurant was not working too. But I am aware that you can order food and still have a beautiful meal on one of their terraces. It is a truly idilic and peaceful place, away from the world.

The hobbit houses were quaint and well made. It was so nice to sit the room with the door open, looking at the beautiful flowers while the butterflies and dragon flies danced around them. The bathroom was recently renovated and worked well. Each hobbit house also has a hot tub. The temperature was perfect, but one of the hot tubs and had spider webs across it with spiders in them. The other one had suspicious looking yellow balls that we couldn’t figure out were nature made or some type of bug repellent thing. Overall my friends and I were very impressed and plan to go back in the future.
