3-Star Hotels in Dundee

Great find in Dundee. Amazing location - right above the train station and opposite the V&A. Bit of noise of boy racers at night, but not for long. The room was big with everything you could need. Breakfast was the cheapest I've ever seen in a hotel and the restaurant was really nicely done. Hubby had a meal and thoroughly enjoyed it. No parking at hotel, but a multi storey 5 minutes walk away that was very reasonable with the 25% discount you get through the hotel (£13 for 2 nights).

The hotel's breakfast includes local specialties. Those who like thick texture should like it. The location is very good, whether it is to go to Taihe or the city center, especially there are two small supermarkets downstairs.

Stayed here for a college reunion in the city. Upon arrival the reception staff greeted us in a very friendly and relaxed manner. Our room was very clean and spacious, the beds were comfortable too. The only fault which isn’t the hotel’s is that the walls are very paper thin. About midnight/1am a couple in the adjoining room from us were having a dispute, and it lasted for half an hour. My friend and I felt like we were children listening to our parents fight while we were in bed. Despite that, we had a really goodnight sleep and breakfast was very good, with staff being very attentive.

The Premier Inn was comfortable, clean and our room had a beautiful view over the River Tay. I chose the hotel as it was close to the V&A and the Discovery. Plenty of parking outside the hotel (£7 charge for 24 hours). The only issue was access as there are roadworks. Not knowing Dundee, and there being a diversion, we ended up being in the wrong lane and going over the Tay Bridge!

We met Eddie the night porter we had such a laugh with him a Scottish man who lived in Dublin then dubai and back to dubai very funny man and a apleasure to talk to he left us a note the next morning after our chats with recommendations of where to eat

A great stay from the very start. We were greeted by the very friendly Kirsty who provided a nice welcome and ensured a very efficient check in process. Staying as a family of 4 we had a room on the ground floor. A really comfortable and enjoyable stay. Food and drink at the neighbouring ‘Bell Tree’ was also very nice. Ideal spot for a family getaway in Dundee / Angus

Premier inn Dundee West. Great service, awesome food from the Chefs, great welcome at reception both check in and check out. Accommodated late check out which made our stay worthwhile as we were visiting Dundee for the first time. I would definitely recommend holiday traveller's to visit Premier inn Dundee west. We have often gone to The Woodlands for a meal which is always lovely. But, last night, we had booked The Library for my mother’s 90th birthday and I cannot praise the staff highly enough. It’s a lovely intimate room (24 people) which is ideal for a get together like this. And, although there was a wedding in the ballroom, we were served promptly and efficiently by a good number of staff. We were helped setting up the room before people arrived and nothing was too much trouble for them. The food was beautifully prepared and delicious, and everyone really enjoyed themselves. Thank you again Woodlands for making it a special night.

I have been staying at this hotel for a few months while working in Dundee and I have to say it is ideal. The staff are so friendly, by far the friendliest staff I have came across in any Premier Inn I have stayed in. The location is ideal aswell, it has a McDonald’s, KFC, Nando’s & the Weavers Mill right next door. It also has a cinema and an ice rink next to it aswell. Camperdown Country Park in just out the back if you like walking or running. Only bad thing I have to say is their is no air con but they do provide you with a fan. Great hotel all round. Definately recommend.
