After staying at both the Living hotel and the Adina Apartment hotel first during our lengthy stay in Dusseldorf it was a breath of fresh air to check into 43 and feel the luxury and space we so needed after 7 weeks away from home. This felt so much more like home. The location was also perfect . So happy we found it as it made our last week so much easier .

Our 2 bedroom apartment was quite nice EXCEPT that the master bathroom smelled like the sewer. We asked to be moved twice but were told that was not possible. Spray was given to mask the smell and eventually we had to close the door and stick a towel under it to keep the smell from invading the entire apartment. Manager promised an adjustment on our bill which was never provided. Free breakfast was offered for one day, but it was not good and not worth the money. Don't stay here - I was told by staff that ours is not the only apartment that suffers from the sewer smell and that it come out of the kitchen as well.

The location of the hotel is perfect, really central. Service people are really friendly. Now if you consider it luxury, you won't agree with that. Rooms are small, the bathroom too small. Breakfast is more than modest and of really poor quality. Unfortunately, I have to say I have never experienced a breakfast like this, I am extremely disappointed. The friendliness and the location of the hotel are still positive. Best wishes
