Highly recommended for family trip. We only pay £10 for family of 2 adults and 3 childrens.

Great location to visit the royal yacht Britainnia with great bus and tram links to Edinburgh centre

Hotel was clean and Quiet.Reception staff friendly and helpful Easy access to city via buses. Sea food restaurants nearby. Hotels breakfast was good except scrambled egg not to my taste.(Dry) Toilet in the room no toilet brush. Bar did not have bloody Mary.Was a bit disappointing.! The hotel staff especially Madina and Lucas went beyond to help and give good advice for first time visitors. Worth trying Holiday Inbn Express Edinborough.

I have stayed at the holiday Inn Express on the 24th December, upon check in entered a vehicle registration number (And I recall specifically asking the receptionist I am just parking my car for a while, do I have to enter it, and I did enter the details on her advice). So, today I receive a parking charge notice of 100 GBP saying that I parked illegally for 3 hours. Outrageous!

The room and service was good, but the food was disaster.

Firstly, I would like to say that the staff were excellent, they were polite, welcoming and went out of their way to make our stay memorable. I would recommend this hotel to everyone

Good location if based in Leith, buses from downtown and the airport express 200 stop directly outside and close to the Leith canal walkway which is nice. Currently lots of construction of the tram outside which makes the location look uglier and harder to navigate than normal. Rooms are good clean and acceptable size. Breakfast is ok. Some of the staff are quite surly, very grumpy when I checked in and refused to help me extend my booking, forcing me to have to book another place.

Staff at this hotel - especially the young man who checked us in and out - made our stay enjoyable. The area is surrounded by roadworks but parking was available.

Brilliant view and super nice staff! Glad I go back to Scotland haha!

Stay in this hotel is really good. I can easily recommend this hotel.
