Except for the old facilities, mainly because the house is hundreds of years old, everything else is pretty good. The heating is powerful and the shower is convenient. It is on Prince Street, very close to the train station, and all the attractions are within walking distance.

It was an old hotel right in front of the Scott monument. I loved the location, it was very convenient. The room also had a bath, which is rare for a room within its price range. Breakfast was rather simple, but was enough for me. I highly recommend.

Very good hotel with excenllent views. The buffet style full English/Scotish breakfast is so goooood after a hangover from the bar within the hotel which operates 24 hours (almost!!).
I also stole beer from the tap while the bartender was away and he laught at it and did not cause any trouble although the bartender next told me that the previous night bartender should be treated with caution lol. They were both fabulous.
