Comfortable and convienent

Clean but small. We booked a triple room which was very small but it was clean and comfortable. Our main issue was the 3pm check in. We were early arriving at 2:30 hoping the room might have been available. It wasn't so came back at 3:30 still wasn't quite ready. On a city break and only visiting for one night the last thing you want is to be kept hanging around waiting to dump your bag. Could have been better organised.

Mistaken Identity This was basically a Hostel. No reception, shared bathroom, no working tv, broken furniture, and inadequate check-in instructions. As a last minute booking on my part, I won’t go too hard, but would not book again.

Only stay here if in a pinch Edinburgh is a stunning and stormy city. I had a difficult time finding something in the city center so I was very pleased with the location. It is convenient for the trains and buses. We stayed in a room which was very hot when the sun was out and very cold when it rained. We shared one dirty bathroom with 3 rooms and some one had bad aim while tinkling. The first floor was stunning and since the sign said bed and breakfast and breakfast buffet available I was excited about some Scottish breakfast in the morning. Three other families said they chose the place for the breakfast included option. Initially the worker said he’d give a refund and then he decided to quarrel with everyone and say they didn’t have a chef. To climb stairs with luggage, unite sprinkles on the toilet and floor and no customer service made me uncomfortable and not worth the price. I imagine that he’ll omit this review.
