The Four Sisters Boatels - Houseboats

Perfect Clean, amazing location, easy check in and check out, hassle free, would definitely recommend. It was such a cheerful trip, nike quirky accommodation in the city centre with everything you need.

We got canceled a couple of hours before we were supposed to check in!! A leak on the boat apparently!! Had to find somewhere else to stay that ended up paying a lot more. Have asked for a refund but not getting a reply. Absolutely gutted after booking many months in advance for a special experience! 😢

Loved our stay at the Four Sisters. Three nights in Edinburgh celebrating the college graduations of my son and his girlfriend. We arrived early and were able to drop our luggage and go across the way for coffee in a little plant shop. The first evening we walked to the Royal Mile, though it was very steep so when we returned for our castle tour the following morning we took a Bolt. There are a couple stores nearby to pick up eggs and milk and whisky! We also took the bus from very nearby to the Scottish Museum. Tap and go. Had some trouble getting the tv to work the first night and when we saw the staff the next day mentioned it on our way out of the Basin. It was fixed when we returned for the evening. The living area was comfortable, even for my 6 ft. 3" son. We played cards into the night and really appreciated that smart streaming speaker where we all chose all kinds of music. It was an adventure to stay on this boat in the canal. We also ordered the arrival basket which was handy, as well as a bottle of Prosecco. The one recommendation I would make is to note an actual address near the Basin to provide to your Bolt or Uber or taxi.

Perfect stay for discovering Edinburgh. It’s is only 10 min walk from the old city, has beautiful and calm atmosphere. You can find everything on the boat you need! We also ordered a bucket of local food from the owner (milk, yogurt, cheese, cereals, salmon, eggs…) it was delicious. I totally recommend !

Ideal for a family of 5. With 3 cabins and a living room , there’s plenty of space . Our hosts were really kind and welcoming Lot of buses around that can bring you everywhere in the city. Don’t forget to buy the daily family pass directly in the bus!

Good location for the city and its attractions. Well equipped, clean , cosy , comfortable……would definitely stay again. There was a problem with the heating on our 2nd night which was resolved the following morning. Thanks to Udam and Natalie. Loudons is a nice place for breakfast or brunch, just 2mins walk from the boat.
