Very noisy in the morning because it’s on the ground floor right next to the staff room, you can hear clearly hear door shutting and wake up from your sleep.
Location is very good, that’s for sure.
I’m a bit disappointed when the reception heard the second day of our stay was my wife’s birthday nothing happened - not even a card with a few nice words, you still need to ask tea bags yourself, that’s lame compared to the Locke in Manchester where we got a free drink coupon - that’s the right way to treat your regular customer!

The room was so cozy and lovely🥰 was amazed by how kitchen was fully equipped! Really appreciated that they even provided us with welcome champagne

Just only that, it would have been perfect if there were a ventilator in the bathroom. It was difficult to use for 3 days because the moisture and smell were not removed. Also, the room was never cleaned even though we stayed for 3 nights in a row.

Lastly, we were expecting to see gym in the hotel according to the website/app, but somehow gym was not there. Even though it is a mistake made from the website, the hotel still should make proper apologies to customer for misleading. The lady working from night~midnight(maybe overnight) didn’t make any apologies but kept saying it’s just not there as if we had made a mistake.

Thank you so much for taking the time to share with us your thoughts about your recent stay at Eden, we really appreciate it :) It's great that you were happy with your fully-equipped apartment and with the various amenities in the room - we really do try to make Eden a sort of a new home away from home for all of our guests :) As we're a serviced apart-hotel, rather than a standard hotel, we don't offer daily cleaning services - this is for sustainability reasons and also because we just like to give our guests all the privacy and independence that they need while they're here with us. We do, however, offer weekly cleaning for guests staying longer than a week and we're always more than happy to give your room a quick refresh (i.e. replacing towels, refilling your toiletries and tea and coffee if needed). As for they gym, it's unfortunate that there was a bit of a misunderstanding! While we don't have a gym, we do have a great partnership with an amazing local yoga studio (just a short walk from the hotel) and every guest gets one free class per stay!! :) Make sure to speak to one of our House Hosts next time and they'll be happy to book you in! The hotel is closed to the high street that is easily accessible to most of the sight-seeing spots within waling distance. The room is spacious, neat, clean and contemporary with all amenities offered as a service apartment. The room is quite, too. The only con-side is that the room is not air-conditioned. The hotel team is really friendly and helpful. I enjoyed the 4-day stay in it. I would definitely come back to Eden Locke properties in the future.

The service was good and the equipment in the room was enough for our stay. However, there’s something wrong with the bathroom and the water tended to spread everywhere after shower even if the door of shower was closed firmly.

A beautiful spacious room with a yoga mat, bath robes and generous bottles of shampoo and conditioner.

Excellent location in the New Town area of Edinburgh. Staff were very friendly and efficient. My One bedroom open plan studio was very comfortable with modern furnishings and branded appliances. Handy to have small kitchen area with kitchen appliances including dishwasher and washing machine. My only criticism about the room is that despite the 3 large windows, the side courtyard location of my room meant that it was overshadowed by the neighbouring Tigerlilly hotel building. The light brown privacy curtains at the windows also dimmed the amount of light. Also recommend taking some earplugs if you are on this side of the building as the Tigerlilly bar has an outside smoking area in the courtyard so it gets quite noisy until closing time.
The hotel has a nice cafe/bar in the reception area called Mayvn operated by another company. Serves light refreshments and has quite a good wine list. However, when I visited, I found the table service a bit oppressive and felt like I was being hassled to order something else, despite ordering twice in 1.5 hours.

This hotel is perfect! I can’t pick a single flaw. The room was so gorgeous, comfy and stylish. I was blown away by the view and the design. And the staff were super friendly and nice - best staff I’ve ever met! The location was great - it’s in the city centre but also quite during night. It’s such a retreat when staying there.
