Ficamos no Red House em fevereiro de 2024, e posso dizer que foi uma ótima escolha. Ficamos em um quarto de casal com um banheiro só para nós, confortável, espaçoso e com ar condicionado. O café da manhã simples, mas que super atende. Pão, ovos , doce de leite, geléia, café e suco. A localização sem sombra de dúvidas é o ponto forte, na Avenida principal de El calafate, e pertinho da saída para o Lago argentino. Se procura uma estadia, com otimo custo benefício, limpo, organizado e bem localizado, recomendo.

Staff were very helpful and friendly. Can book the bus to el chalten or Perito Morino through them.
Only real negative was having one bathroom for a largeish dorm, and the shower only sort of worked (would expect that to be standard for the area though)
Breakfast is decent, self serve with coffee, toast, eggs pancakes.

Small and intimate hostel, where you will feel right at home. It is clean and comfortable and the owner Flor was super helpful with everything! Even helping me to call the airport as they left my baggage in Buenos Aires and dropping me at the bus terminal when it was raining and I didn't have cash for the taxi! Will definitely be back again whenever I am in Calafate. Thank you Flor!
