I was told that management was not going to allow me to check in to the hotel due to my past hotel review??? I stayed at this hotel a couple months ago and after my stay was over I received the typical email wanting a hotel review which I completed truthfully, the hotel is clean but that’s about all I can say positive about it, they advertise and rented me a room with a full kitchen but it had zero pots and pans not even a fork or a coffee cup, the breakfast is one of the worst in the hotel industry plain and simple, the hotel staff and management live onsite and are horrific to say the very least and you can’t hardly ever find someone attending the front desk. I submitted my review and instead of taking the criticism as an opportunity to improve their hotel they apparently got their feelings hurt and decided to just ban me due to a bad but honest review. I once again had to book a room here last night due to all other hotels in town being full, once I arrived and went to check in the manager asked me if I had stayed here before which I replied, Yes and then he asked me about my review and told me that “management” informed him to not allow me to check in due to my past review. I asked him how to get ahold of this “management” person and he told me “quote” you know you know it’s up the chain he don’t know” that’s his exact words as I recorded every second of this conversation and then I took video at the end and they, the manager and his spouse then all of a sudden could no longer speak on the subject! Very sketchy folks here at this hotel and horrible management to ban someone from staying at their hotel due to a bad past review! I travel extensively across the US and abroad on business and I will never stay at another Days Inn or Wyndham hotel again and I will not allow my employees to do so either nor would I recommend anyone stay at this place.
