We were there for last day BTS concert at SoFi Stadium. Easy to take free LAX bus to LAX City Bus center terminal and tsf to bus 232. Stop right in front of hotel. Our room wasn't ready when we arrived at 4 pm so we waited. Front desk Joshua was nice and efficient checking-in after about 20 min wait. Rooms are numbered weird and didn't see any elevators. Room was clean and adequate space for 2. We had queen size bed, comfy. Kitchen had 2 burner stove, sink, microwave and full size fridge. No utensils or dishes in room, so you need to ask front desk if you require them. Breakfast is basic, just coffee, hot water for tea/cocoa, small muffin, and cereal bars. But across street there's lots of restaurants and starbucks next door. Ralph's Supermarket is next door too so very convenient to pick up to-go stuff for late night snack, etc. No housekeeping during our stay. Not sure if its always like that or just short staff due to pandemic and being fully booked. But we were only there for 2 days and we kept things neat so no problem for us. No car, so we needed public transportation, which LA does poorly at. That's why our hotel is great location as it's between the bus line 232 and short distance away from metrorail Green line C station. We able to use bus conveniently to go to North South along PCH to Manhattan Beach/Redondo Beach area and able to go back to LAX Bus Centrer terminal to transfer to other buses if needed. Hotel is in relatively safe area but do not wander off main PCH or use public transport if you're alone. The rail stations are lonely at night, very few riders. Completely devoid of people at Mariposa station at 8 pm weeknight. No car traffic even along inner streets off PCH as it's mostly business headquarter bldgs/warehouses after business hrs. Metrorail felt safer after our concert as many people used it to go home. Use common sense and caution as it is a big city. Overall, short stay but we had great time and wonderful experience. Would recommend and return again.
