Greenwoods Resort and Campsite

I was there in 2018. I was on an "On the Go" Gorilla Trek and this Resort offered "Upgrades" from our sleeping bags. I took it and was pleasantly surprised. I had a hostel-type room and it was more than adequate. Great evening around a blazing campfire. Eldoret is actually on the Masai Mara, what more can you ask for.

We stayed at this lovely resort outside Eldoret for one night as part of an overland safari trip with Intrepid. Although we were meant to be camping, our entire party of 14 opted to upgrade to rooms, which was a good decision given the overnight rain! The rooms were simple but spotlessly clean, with comfortable beds , coffee and tea making facilities and hot showers- and all for a very reasonable price. The grounds were beautiful and very well tended. Highly recommended for anyone in the area

The place is easy to find, the staff are very helpful. Kudos to Patricia, Faith and Dennis, they ensure your stay is as comfortable as possible. The rooms are sizeable, the duvets are warm and they added a heater at our request. Water pressure is good. The lawns are awesome with a play ground for the children: Breakfast was very normal. Come here if you’re looking for a quiet, serene environment.
