Wonderful Stay at EKHO Ella with a Stunning View and made a history to my life! We stayed for three nights at EKHO Ella, Sri Lanka, and it was an unforgettable experience. We are from Sydney and had asked a friend, who also lives in Sydney, to book a hotel for us in Ella. My main request was to find a place where we could relax and enjoy a beautiful view from our room. My friend booked EKHO Ella, and I couldn’t have been happier with the choice! From the moment we arrived, the welcome drinks, traditional Sri Lankan pancakes, and herbal drinks set the tone for a wonderful stay. The hotel staff were incredibly warm and attentive, and when they showed us to our room, I was thrilled with what I saw. The room was designed with inspiration from the famous Ella train and station, and the setup was truly remarkable. The view from the room was breath-taking, and the thoughtful design made our stay even more special. There are no words to fully express how impressive and well-thought-out the room design was – it felt like a perfect blend of comfort and creativity. On the first night, we had booked dinner for my wife, my friend, and his wife. However, when we arrived, we noticed there weren’t many vegetarian options available. Fortunately, the hotel’s General Manager, Mr. Udesh Sasanka, noticed this and quickly requested the chef to prepare three additional vegetarian dishes for us. This level of personalized attention truly showed how much they care about meeting each guest’s needs. The hotel also organized live flute music, creating a romantic atmosphere that enhanced our evening with beautiful sounds. The next day, unfortunately, I had an accident after using the jacuzzi and needed to be rushed to the hospital for stitches. One of the hotel staff members, Mr. Priyantha, was incredible in this emergency. He kept pressure on my bleeding ear and held me on his lap until we reached the hospital. It was a serious injury, requiring 10 stitches, and I had to stay at the hospital overnight. Mr. Priyantha stayed by my side the entire night, without sleeping, helping me until the next morning when my wife and friend arrived. His care and dedication in such a stressful situation were remarkable, and I cannot thank him enough. The entire hotel staff went above and beyond during this difficult time. They even organized a dinner for me and breakfast following day at the hospital, providing linens and pillows to ensure my comfort. Mr. Udesh Sasaka and his team visited me at the hospital the next morning, even though it was more than 45 minutes away from the hotel. Their kindness and concern were truly touching. After I was discharged, Mr. Udesh arranged a special lunch served on a banana leaf, a dish I love, which he learned about from my friend. It was such a thoughtful gesture and made the whole experience unforgettable. I want to extend my heartfelt thanks to the entire hotel staff and General Manager for the extraordinary care and service they provided. Even
