Difficult to reach the hotel. Taxis are chaotic and rare whereby they are able to fetch others together with you. Luckily, the hotel have a very good and responsible front desk manager, 张鹏, who used his own car to bring us to the railway station. We just can't get a taxi from the hotel. In addition, his advice on how to get around the emeishan and leshan scenic area helps to reduce unnecessary search. I would like to thank 张鹏 again for all his help during our 3 night. You're proud of your staff.

The location is OK, although it is not at the foot of Mount Emei in the city, but it is less than ten minutes' drive from the high-speed rail station and Mount Emei. The hotel itself also has a high-speed rail shuttle service, which is very convenient. Next to the hotel is the Big Buddha Temple, the environment is good. The boss recommended a snack street to try, very good. The hotel itself is a large building complex, the environment is natural and simple, the spring water is ding, the winding path is quiet, and there is no fun. We booked a private soup room, the soup pool is open-air but blocked, the visual privacy is very good, but after all, it is open-air, so the sound of the private soup room next door can't be blocked... Breakfast level is passed, there should be some, the noodles are good. Sweet duck is not very good. The private soup water is very clean. The underground mineral water is introduced but there is no smell when it smells. The water temperature is adjustable. It is still very comfortable to soak. After climbing the mountain for a day, it is super relieved. The overall feeling is very good, it is still very recommended ～

Everything was fine, except the fact that the nongjiale restaurant next to our window had a party at night. Otherwise, comfortable space, ambiance, breakfast (they had coffee!!) and hot tubs? Not sure if it’s a hot spring or hot tub but we didn’t get to use it because we were too tired to leave the room. Looks nice though and they have many private tubs so you don’t need to share.

Nice hotel, good breakfast, lovely kids’ playgrounds, clean room and hot springs, beautiful territory of the hotel. What made me very disappointed about the stay: we were given a room without balcony right above the main entrance. All the night the cars were coming and going, all the morning the buses were on and the smell went to the room. It was very annoying and noisy. Sure it was too late at night to go to the front desk and ask to change a room. I suppose the front desk should be more attentive when choosing a room for families especially when the hotel is not fully booked like now. So if you are lucky to get a quiet room with hot springs view, it still can be a good hotel in Emeishan.

An Exceptional Hidden Gem Location is a short walk to the Huangwan Tourist Centre, the closest bus depot/stop before you start your journey up the mountain. I stayed twice, 2 nights each, before and after my sojourn up to the up. Why? Because of the little things. It just felt lwarm and comfortable. Things you feel beyond the hardware, which has been very well looked after despite of the 3 year lull of COVID. It is the warmth of sincere greetings always. The thoughtful attention to little details are so many, but I shall just list a few. They have a Chinese tea set in the room, when they see you used it, they upsize the bottled water which by the way is deliberately sourced from a local spring, even though it is by a big brand. Breakfast is a Chinese style set tray, most all ingredients are sourced locally. Very presentable. They will gladly replenish whatever you like. The soya milk is freshly made, rich and thick. Because of my dietary restrictions, I just took the eggs and little pickles the 1st morning, with almost a whole jug of soya milk, the wait staff asked if everything was alright and duly came back with extra eggs. The next morning, they asked if I wanted the same, and had it on standby. On my return stay, the front desk asked if I would like anything else for breakfast, I was obviously impressed that the details of my stay was fed back to the front desk. This is what personalized service is about and where it starts. The minute I entered my room, there was the upsized bottle of water. The hardware you can read elsewhere. It leans more to modern zen. Special mention must be made about the bedsheets, I only noticed a few nights later how much of a higher grade it is compared to most internationally. Little insider secret : they have a few husk filled pillows in oversized pillow cases which allows you to shape to your preferred height and thickness. OK! Complain time. There is no in-house hot spring, something nice after the mountain, yet I forewent it just because, for my return stay. The complex they are in is quite destitute, most units are vacant. Restaurants are there but.... So quiet and peaceful it definitely is. A truly underrated hidden gem of a B&B. I seldom write reviews except for the 1s and 10s.

The room is large and has a large balcony. It is only across the road from Huangwan Station. There are many restaurants around to eat, the prices are affordable and the portions are sufficient. The air conditioning in the room is strong and the hot water is sufficient. Breakfast is mainly Chinese style, with freshly ground coffee. The boss was very nice and even sent us to Emeishan Railway Station to catch the train. A store that is highly recommended.

The hotel is in good condition and in a good location. It's only three minutes away from the Baoguo Temple Visitor Center. The handsome store manager is also very nice. If you have any questions, you can ask him. He also gave me fruit, which was just in time for entering the scenic spot. I originally planned to only I stayed for one night and thought everything was good, so I stayed another night and upgraded me to a double room from the original standard room. Thank you!

Staying in a comfortable B&B made the journey more beautiful. Living in a cage for a long time allowed me to return to nature. You can see the green mountains when you open the window. When you wake up early, you can hear the chirping of birds and the cool breeze blowing from the mountains. The location is really good. It is very close to the Huangwan Town bus stop and there is a supermarket and hotel downstairs. The room decoration is a bit more wood style + wabi-sabi style, which goes well with nature. The boss was super nice, he picked us up and dropped us off, and the travel guide was very detailed. The hike up and down the mountain was exactly as predicted by the boss.

The hotel environment is very good and the greening is very good. The room was also clean and tidy. You can call the staff directly from the room and anything you need will be delivered immediately. 👍 The hotel's breakfast is particularly rich, with self-service options. You must go to those who offer breakfast. Drinks, fruits, Chinese breakfast and Western breakfast are all available. The stiletto beef noodles are very, very delicious. Even though I usually can't eat much for breakfast, I finished a bowl. 😋 The butler-style service is very reassuring. Our butler Xiao Tan not only reminded us of the precautions when going to Mount Emei, but also introduced us to local delicacies. In the end, he also helped us a lot when we caught the high-speed train. This kind of service experience is very good. 🤩 The hotel also has a shuttle service, which is very convenient for traveling back and forth. The location is also very advantageous. It is only a five-minute walk from the Emeishan Passenger Transport Center, which saves you a lot of trouble when going to play. The hotel's hot spring experience is also quite good and very comfortable. There is also a swimming pool in the hotel, so we didn't try it because we were in a hurry. Overall, there is only one word for this hotel stay: great!

We stayed at Emeishan Gand Hotel on two separate occasions. We were impressed by the attentive service made by our hostess Miss Geng and she had made all the effort to make our stay as comfortable as possible. We appreciated all the effort the staff at Emeishan Grand Hotel had made and the idyllic location of this hotel made it the perfect base to explore the majestic Emei Mountain and is surroundings.
