Excellent location in heart of Ennis. Staff friendly and helpful, room clean and food good. Google maps brought us wrong way so maybe put in car park location not hotel to get there easily. Would recommend to anyone as a Base to visit the surrounding areas

Spent a weekend at the Temple Gate Hotel last weekend. From the time we arrived until we left, I found the staff exceptionally friendly and helpful. Room was clean and comfortable and had a really good shower. Breakfast was freshly cooked and very good.Hotel is right in the centre of Ennis - very convenient for restaurants, shops and bars. Great selection of music in pubs. We booked to go to Paolo Nutini on Saturday night and bus stop to Limerick was right behind the hotel. Free parking . I have stayed here before for Book Club festival and would recommend.

Our favorite stop along our travels. Lovely property with pub & restaurant. Easily walkable area. Staff were very friendly and kind. We will definitely stay here again when passing through.

We have stayed here a number of times before, which probably speaks for itself in many ways. However, this visit didn't seem to quite meet our expectations. Most elements were of the usual high quality, room comfortable and quiet, shower and other room facilities excellent and staff super. We had dinner on both evenings and were very satisfied. The breakfast on the first morning however was not at it's usual standard. Next morning it was good. Not too sure if experience might have been influenced by what we thought was a rather downbeat Ennis town itself. We never saw as many pubs etc closed and felt the atmosphere in general was not as upbeat as heretofore and this was the day after Clare beat Limerick. Hopefully it was just a figment of our imagination but!!!!!!

We felt very safe in this hotel. You also needed you room key to get to your hall were your room was located. With all the events going on while we we there we found the rooms very quiet. Breakfast was very good and staff was more than helpful. Great location.

Wonderful place to stay in the heart of Ennis. Nice room and lovely overall facilities. Staff was just as warm and welcoming as everyone else we met in town. Take advantage of the location to walk through town - shopping, Ennis Friary, Clare Museum, great pubs/restaurants, etc... Highly recommended!!!

Super easy parking. Helpful knowledgable staff. Great location. located on the Back Side of Main Street and Square of Ennis. Ennis is a medieval town so driving and parking can be a problem.... but having the back of the hotel at the busy part of town if was easy to park and quiet (compared to rest of town.). I will only stay there when I return to Ennis
