Lovely atmosphere at the reception and wonderful view from the room. Staff is very friendly.
However, the buffet breakfast was a bit disappointing and there were no staff to support at all.

I was very happy with my stay welcomed on arrival by management. Good local knowledge of staff I got the sense their was pride in promoting their county and amenities. Positive checkout experience aswell asking how everything was. I would certainly return to this hotel also excellent central location for touring Clare. Thank you

The owner greeted us at the entrance and gave us a map and info on sites nearby, he was very friendly and helpful as were all the staff. The room was lovely and spacious and the breakfast was brilliant with a great selection. The leisure centre is very relaxing, the sauna is one of the best I've used. The gym is very well equipped to meet the needs of casual and advanced sports gym programs. The golf course around the hotel is very well-kept. Conveniently close to Ennis for taxis or walking in. We went to Lahinch beach for surfing which is also not too far from the hotel. Overall they live their motto "You arrive as a guest and leave as a friend", and we will definitely be staying again.

We stayed for one night on this occasion. The hotel is lovely and the staff are very friendly and helpful. The bedrooms are very spacious and comfortable. We had dinner in the restaurant and the food was amazing! We're looking forward to our next trip!!!

We stayed at this lovely hotel for 2 nights last week. On arrival we got a warm welcome & were given a lovely room overlooking the golf course. We ate in the restaurant and the featherblade beef was so tender it really deserves a mention. We headed to Scattery Island for a lovely day trip before returning to the hotel to change for the Cold Play concert in Limerick. We were back to the hotel for a nightcap by 11.50 after the concert and would highly recommend The Woodstock as an ideal location for any events in Thomond Park. We enjoyed our stay and will be back .

Once we walked in the door we knew this was an amazing choice of hotel for our family break! Reception staff were amazing really good with the kids. The room was nice, the leisure centre is brilliant and the staff are very good too. Loved this hotel, will definitely be back again at some stage! Oh my god I nearly forgot to say that the food is absolutely gorgeous also!❤️

Stayed for a night with my sister's to celebrate my birthday! We had such a lovely stay in Deluxe rooms overlooking the Golf Course. Beds were super comfy, as were the pillows. We had dinner in the newly renovated Shanaway Bistro, I had the Feather Blade Beef, it was sublime and melt in the mouth! We enjoyed drinks in the bar after dinner. Staff everywhere were so attentive, helpful and friendly! After the best breakfast I've ever had in any hotel, we spent a couple of hours in the Leisure Centre before checking out. Can't recommend this hotel highly enough!

Our stay was terrible and very disappointing. Our bed was very uncomfortable, poached eggs cooked in excess vinegar, had to asked 4 times for butter during breakfast, staff at breakfast wondering around, and not attentive to the residences. Shared complaints with reception, who was very sympathetic, extremely disappointed that the owners did not contact us. We were booked in for 2 nights, but left after 1 night. Certainly not a 4 star hotel. Would not go back to this hotel again. Reception staff were excellent though, polite and friendly.
