Stayed here with family while visiting Chessington theme park. The hotel is located in nice quite part with beautiful views. The staff were brilliant and very helpful. Staff recognised my membership status and explained all benefits. The room had few stains but overall was comfortable. Note the place has no restaurant or anything at walking distance but few local places offer delivery. Breakfast was unfortunately a bit letdown for us 2 days in a row as the hash browns were cold and croissants not warm! Being vegetarian that were the options I went for as didn’t have much choice. Thankfully good coffee machine so had lovely cappuccino. I will however stay again more for the great staff and the location of the hotel.

Wipe your feet on the WAY OUT! Unfortunately the pictures are very misleading the hotel no longer looks like this. It’s extremely run down and grubby. Firstly I had requested a double bed only to find it was a double zip, but then on arrival it was a twin. The room stank, it was musty and smelt damp, my clothes ended up reeking of it. The toilet had faeces in the toilet, the taps were rusty and covered in limescale and the floor was dirty. The bathroom also had the smell of cigarettes coming from somewhere. Two of the room lights had lightbulbs out so the room was dark In areas. The room had peeling paint and trim missing off of furniture. The restaurant again is run down and has clearly had a leak with cardboard on the floor and again smelt of damp. The food was ok though and staff friendly. It’s ONLY saving grace. My guessing is that whoever owns this is waiting for it to become so run down it has to close and they can build further houses in the area. Spend your money elsewhere I’m sure there are nicer hotels in the area for the money.
