H10 Estepona Palace

Beautiful surroundings, architecture, and rooms with friendly service. I love the comfortable, white-washed room with a balcony and sea view. My only complaint is that there are no authentic Spanish restaurants in the vicinity; the 25€ buffet dinner will become monotonous if I have to eat it every day. The “heated” swimming pool was also too cold for my liking, but sunbathing in the lush pool garden was still worth it.

We booked through jet2 and i expected much more. The good parts of the hotel: Really clean and the cleaners really friendly Spacious rooms Can change pool towels daily Turn down service nightly includes lovely chocolate Breakfast was nice (and the chef who was on must be the hardest working person in the hotel doing omelettes, fried eggs, pancakes and toasties cooked to order and doing ovens) Childrens pool was a great size and depth The blackout curtains in the rooms make it very dark I like the fact they are a ‘green hotel’ so no water bottles are given but they have a water fountain at the lobby bar and the poolside And the rest; The grill on a lunch and evening had some questionable cooking including raw chicken. They also used the same tongs for both raw and cooked food. The children’s entertainment was 90% in Spanish including the mini disco and some of the staff were not warming towards all the kids. Evening entertainment was incredibly loud almost uncomfortably so - the noise level could easily have been halved and still been audible We only ever got two towels when there was clearly two of us and a child in our room (we had a cot) We only have one sun lounger on our terrace. No tables round the pool for you to put drinks on (so no where at all for drinks). There is a terrace bar which you can sit at with your all inclusive drinks but you can’t order them at that bar - you have to walk into the lobby bar to take your drinks back to it. But it’s empty and the staff are hanging around with no customers to serve. Not sure why they have lifeguards - watched the lifeguards see some kids go into the pool and actually walk away from them to chat to their fellow lifeguards rather than watch the kids. Or sit in their phones the whole time. I don’t expect lifeguards on holiday but if they are there, you would want them to actually look at the pool. Tips; Don’t book a sea view unless you want to hear deafening music. We upgraded to all inclusive from full board for €25pp per day when we arrived and found it was worth it. Sunbeds get reserved really early but barely anyone is actually sat on them until late morning. Bring a water bottle with you to fill up from the fountains There is a nice walk along the beach front (all paved and suitable for prams) if you head down to the beach then turn right.

had a decent sort of stay here room was fab 662 on corner privilege room free bar all day bar area noisy till 11-30 which i didn't mind to much SUNBEDS BY POOL ..... unless ur up at 7-30 you have no chance of bit of spanish sun so so disappointed i thought this only happened in benidorm !! only downside and some pool noise mostly full of teenagers playing ball games ... There was a small area opened at 10 am with a few beds in shady area however if i like sun and a pool not worth it so basically decent place for families NOT COUPLES WHO LIKE SUN going back in november but had to book elsewhere pity

Very nice room and spacious with nice balcony. All staff very friendly. Breakfast quality excellent
