The hotel uses a lot of smart devices, but the smart toilet is overly sensitive (the toilet often opens and closes automatically when I move around, which often scares me), and the details still need to be polished.
Of course, if you need to live nearby because of its convenient location, then this hotel should still be the most suitable choice (the hardware is always newer).

The transportation is very convenient. After climbing down Fanjing Mountain, I don’t want to take a step with sore legs. I saw the sign when I came out of the Tongren Bus Terminal. The lady at the front desk was very nice and checked in very quickly. The hotel has elevators and carpets in the corridors. No sound is very good.
Opposite is Tongren Railway Station, we are the train the next morning, just across the road, it is very convenient, the hotel is affordable, clean and sanitary, the best choice for short-distance travel 😄

The service staff are kind, thoughtful and attentive. Special thanks to the concierge Xiao He. The child immediately came out to greet me when he saw the car parked at the door. My scattered luggage was properly put away, especially the bedding I brought with me. I did not put the luggage carelessly. Instead, the car was placed on a clean floor. At such a young age, it is great to pay such attention to details. Xiao He believes that God rewards hard work. The health tea in the lobby recommended by Xiao He is delicious! Thank you also to the kids from the customer service department for sending us water and anti-noise earplugs. What I don’t recommend is that the sound of the train outside the hotel is really scary😟I couldn’t sleep all night!

The stay experience is really good. It is really convenient for passengers arriving in Tongren late at night. After booking, I received a text message from Ctrip and contacted the hotel by phone. The front desk staff is responsible, check-in is also very fast, the room is clean and hygienic, the suite is comfortable, the windows are open for fresh air, and the price-performance ratio is high. The room facilities are very good, the bathroom is separated into wet and dry areas, and there is also a bathtub. The first time I saw a building that gathered all the hotels. The elevator entrance is full of hotel advertisements. See the elevator that is most advertised. The hotel is very simple, the bathroom and toilet are very small, the bath is inconvenient, and the sanitary conditions are poor. The sewer also smells back. I originally booked a king bed, but I accidentally booked the wrong room type. When I went to the hotel front desk, I told the lady at the hotel. The lady at the front desk was very patient and said that she could upgrade me to a king bed room for free. I was very happy. The room was clean and tidy. The layout is comfortable and the facilities are complete. There are room check-in instructions and unlimited passwords posted next to the bedside table. We also added customer service WeChat. The lady at the front desk sent some travel places around the hotel. The service is very good. There is also a book in the room. Books, you can read them [enjoyment], and Tongren Ancient City is also worth visiting. The night view is very beautiful. I am very satisfied with this trip😄😄

It was already after 7pm when we arrived, and it was raining heavily, but two people from the store still came to pick us up. SShaneGreat view, comfortable bed, large terrace are all highlights. The hostess is a lovely woman who is accommodating to requests. A car was arranged, no charge, to bring us to the hotel from the train station. We were also given a small gift of local delicacies when we checked out.
We were especially thankful when we were allowed to shorten our booking because it was very noisy our first night. The noise was largely because of one group of guests who were yelling on their balcony until 3:30am. The hostess was very apologetic about the noise the next day. Though perhaps the hotel should consider a curfew to improve the noise levels. Perhaps a curfew of 11pm like the bars. The second night was much better and we had some regrets about not staying longer.
The main area of improvement, other than a curfew, is the cleaning. We were given a pillow that was very dirty and it was quite disconcerting when we discovered it the next day because it had been hidden by the pillow cover. Also, you could not hang the towel over the shower because the top of the rail, which is not visible, was covered in a heavy layer of dirt. Given the grease like texture, this had not been cleaned for a very long time. There was also some noticeable dust.
One other thing to note is that it is a bit of a walk to the hotel from the street. This is the same for any of the hotels along the water, but it is worth noting. Heavy luggage will be difficult to carry.
Overall, a great stay with a couple of areas for the hotel to improve.

AAlejandro Ch.This boutique hotel is run by really nice and helpful people. We arrived around 9:00pm to the high speed railway station and there were no taxis or Didi available. We took the direct bus from the station to Qifeng Square which was a 7min walk from Hongqiao bridge and they went to pick us up to Qifeng square to help with our luggage (by foot of course, it’s basically a pedestrian area) ☺️. They were also kind enough to drop us off again to Qifeng square and helped with the bus tickets. Awesome customer service.
The location of the hotel was in the middle of everything, the balcony was a highlight. Maybe cleanliness could be improved, and some things like the bathroom carpet should be replaced. But that’s it.
Oh, there’s also this thing: while Fenghuang town is beautiful at night, it’s basically a party town when the sun sets. There’s a bar opposite to the hotel as other comments point out, but that’s not the only bar in the area. Wherever you walk along the river you will find a bar blasting music. Such a beautiful town ruined at night by bad local government regulations. If you like to sleep before 11:30pm (when music stops), maybe stay somewhere far away from the river. If sleeping late is okay for you, then this hotel works perfectly for the night.

AAnonymous UserWe went there as a family of 4. We originally booked a room with one double bed and two single beds but once there, they gave us a free upgrade to a room with three double beds. The staff was very attentive during our check-in and gave us a detailed run down of where to visit and gave suggestions on the best route to explore the area. The restaurant opposite the hotel which the staff recommended was also quite delicious.
The room itself is generally clean, but our room had some areas with cracked flooring. And although we booked a room for four people. The slippers, toothbrushes, water etc all came in threes. There was a lack of power outlets in one room while the other had more than enough which is a bit odd.
We went in late December, which is considered as off-season for this area so there weren't many other tourists.
Another complaint to make is some staff can be found smoking in the reception lobby. This is probably a cultural thing and not an issue with this hotel in particular because locals here smoke everywhere.
The staff was also able to help arrange a car to drop us off at the high speed train station for 50 yuan. Overall, the location is not far off from the attractions (~15-20 minutes walk), clean, and had friendly helpful staff.

CcooltravellerThe hotel is located at the bank of Tuo Jiang river, about 100 m from Hongqiao bridge. In the case confusing about the direction, just call the hotel after alight from the car/taxi on the Hongqiao bridge and they would be happily to pick you up. We didn't have any problem to find the hotel ourselves since we are quite familiar using Baidu Map and the hotel location quite precise on Baidu Map.
Just like any other hotels with Diaojiaolou (Hanging Building) style in Fenghuang Ancient City, the hotel lobby is very small since the use of space is very important for them. However, the room that we stayed was quite spacious and clean with the balcony facing Tuo Jiang river. The owner was very generous to upgrade our room to Double King Bed (2 beds of size 180x200cm. The beds are comfy. The room comes with Chinese Style Tea Making Set on the balcony so we can relax enjoying the view of the river while sipping cups of tea. The waterflow at the shower was strong and the hot water worked well.
The owner was very friendly and attentive. She gave us the late checkout since our train leaving Fenghuang was late in the afternoon. Very recommended to stay here.

GGuest UserThe room we booked was a twin room with river view and balcony. It is at Nanhua Gate and can be reached by taxi, which is very convenient. The B&B has an elevator, which is very convenient for picking up luggage. My parents were very happy to see the beautiful Fenghuang River view. The balcony is very spacious, with a hammock, coffee table and a chair. The scenery is very nice. The boss has a very nice family. My dad’s legs and feet are not very convenient, so the boss helped to carry it. They are very kind and enthusiastic people. The ancient city of Fenghuang is very beautiful. When I was a child, I was fascinated by the weather broadcast on Hunan TV. Especially the night view of Fenghuang is well-deserved. We walked around twice during the day and at night. They were both beautiful. We also took photos of the Miao ethnic minority and ate shrimp cakes. And Cuicui Miao Cake, mom and dad are very happy~
