Hotel Fondo Catena

La stanza era al piano terra ,nella parte staccata dall'albergo , ci sarebbe voluta più attenzione nel togliere la polvere dalle superfici ,anche internamente all'armadio. Il ristorante è nel corpo centrale ,da ammirare il soffitto a volta molto carino,la prima colazione è abbondante con molti prodotti da assaggiare.... ottimi. Parcheggio esterno sotto teli ombreggiati. Nel complesso; albergo immerso nel verde e vicino all'autostrada uscita Ferrara.

Sicuramente la location è una buona base su cui lavorare…… ma molto!! Cerchione del wc rotto ( anche se prontamente sostituito) doccia vecchia con incrostazioni , doccino ricoperto di sporcizia…..Anche la colazione aveva una presentazione “triste” ….. tutto molto vecchio!! Peccato con un restyling sarebbe una bella struttura…… attualmente non ci tornerei più!!

Prenotato una stanza a giugno in questo hotel come da 10 anni per la settimana di una fiera a Ferrara. Ricevuta la conferma di prenotazione scritta via mail. Al momento del check in alle ore 1800 la titolare mi ha riportato che non aveva una stanza disponibile. Ho chiesto spiegazioni in quanto la conferma era stata ufficializzata con mail ma la sola risposta ricevuta e' stata: non ho la camera. Quasi impossibile trovare un'altra sistemazione a Ferrara sono dovuto andare a Rovigo. Pessima gestione.

We stayed two nights and couldn't wait to leave. Damp and not very clean rooms. At the reception rude and unorganized. Better not talk about breakfast. The only positive thing is that it is located in the middle of the greenery. We will never go back again.

very welcoming place in the middle of the greenery, clean, tidy and very kind staff. Quiet and tidy room. Despite the location immersed in the green countryside, access to the motorway is not very far. Waking up in the morning in this place gives you a boost of energy. I was very satisfied, I will return. Well done and congratulations to the owners.

We had a reservation with Smartbox for one night and dinner, we added another 40 euros to have dinner. The hotel never answered the phone, the day before arrival we called and sent emails to check in to no avail. The morning of check-in still no news, since we found reviews of people who waited hours for someone to arrive once they arrived, we always canceled by email. Magic, to the cancellation email they replied that they wouldn't cancel because otherwise they would have to pay a penalty, not even an excuse for not being available in days. Smartbox says that without cancellation there is no refund, nice game, blaming each other for the disservice. The total cost of dealing with rude and unserious people is 139.00 euros.

I stayed one night in this hotel but I had the impression of a lack of care in the welcome and of an improvised and unprofessional management of the structure. The first problems occurred at the reception (the reservation made through Booking did not appear); the room (with two single beds instead of a double bed) revealed some critical issues: a burnt out light bulb (promptly replaced anyway), cobwebs on the ceiling, some dead insects on the floor and an already opened package of shower shampoo in the bathroom. At 6:15 in the morning we were woken up by the sound of an alarm clock in the adjacent room used by the hotel managers which stopped ringing only after 15 minutes following my report via phone call to the mobile number indicated at the entrance. Breakfast was the only positive note: quite rich in both savory and sweet options. Finally, while we were in the room to pack our bags, we saw the cleaner enter who opened the door without knocking and checked whether or not there were guests in the room. At the time of check out, a new embarrassing situation arose in the request for payment for the overnight stay which had already been made at the time of booking. In short, a set of elements that made the short stay in this hotel less than hospitable and rather... "embarrassing"!

Questo hotel si trova nella campagna che circonda Ferrara, a circa 15 min in auto dal centro città. Molto silenzioso e rilassante. È una struttura grande, ricavata da sola n complesso agricolo (con molta cura devo dire) ed è a conduzione familiare: ciò significa che c’è una famiglia che lo gestisce e che vive lì, e la cosa è molto bella perchè si sente che amano questo luogo. Le stanze sono confortevoli e calde, bagno in ordine, ma il pezzo forte è senza dubbio la cucina. Tutto fatto a mano o preso da produttori locali, molto ma molto buono. Colazione super. L’hotel è circondata da un bel parco che - essendo dicembre e brutto tempo - non abbiamo goduto, ma ci torneremo a primavera. Hotel consigliato per famiglie… maanche per fughe romantiche!

Siamo stati molto bene! Albergo molto curato . Comode stanze affacciate sul parco. Logisticamente ben situato vicino Ferrara. Ottime colazioni! Magari, per certi aspetti, avrei preferito un atteggiamento meno familiare e più professionale. È una piccola critica volta al miglioramento del gestore il quale ha tutti i punti per ottenere l’eccellenza. Grazie spero di tornare presto a Ferrara!!! Arrivederci!
