Was very disappointed with room seemed a bit worn or well lived in, but thankfully we only checked in at 16.30 and checked out 5am following morning. Restaurant service, food, drinks and staff were 100% perfect. Car parking was OK too, really short shuttle ride to airport and only a short wait 15mins for collection back to car. So really only let down for me was the room, I'm guessing if you stayed longer you would get a better class of room? other than that good job and staff are a credit to this hotel

This was the most expensive hotel of our ten day trip to Ireland (more than 200E) and we chose it only because of the proximity to the airport. The pictures on the Internet made it seem nice and modern but they were deceiving. The first room we got smelled like cigarette smoke even though it was supposed to be non-smoking. The hallways also smelled like smoke. The second room we got was dirty -- an old sock was left on the floor and there were hairs on the bed. The tv remote was so old the numbers were worn off and the remote was missing the battery cover. The tv was also unplugged from the cable for some reason. The rooms are very small -- think college dorm size or cruise ship. The hotel and the rooms I saw are in dire need of renovation - the elevator creaked every time it was used. The only positive things I have to say is that the breakfast was pretty good (buffet), it is close to the airport, and the front desk personnel were friendly. However, I wanted to get out of the place as soon as I could because it felt so dirty. Even the McDonald's across the street felt elegant compared to this hotel. The Maldron Hotel Dublin Airport was by far the worst place I stayed in Ireland and an unfortunate ending to an otherwise nice trip. Surprisingly the hotel was packed with travelers when we were there, given that it was so bad.

My husband and I spent our last two nights of our week in Ireland here. Perfect location near Dublin and the airport. We were able to take the train into Dublin for a day of exploring and Mary was wonderful giving us directions and parking tips for the train station. She was a perfect hostess, remembering us by name and her homemade breakfasts were delicious. Our room was cozy and the bed very comfortable. The location is close to town but there aren't good walking paths so we did drive everywhere. Thank you Mary for a wonderful stay!

Need to know: It is currently 2.5 pounds per person each way to ride the necessary airport shuttle bus. Dublin Airport imposes a long walk on everyone using any of the shuttle buses, which stop much closer to the bus station than the airport (however, you can't get a cab because the distance is too short). In addition, Dublin Airport has a very confusing entrance/exit area definitely designed to make it impossible for vehicles to get anywhere close to the terminal, but also making it virtually impossible to make sense of the signage and twists and turns when using public or for-hire transportation. You need time, both in and out!! I downgraded to ”4” for Location because we had to pay for the airport shuttle - the more expensive, name-brand airport hotels do not charge. Also, breakfast is not included at the Premier Inn and is currently 9.95 pounds for continental, including a few hot items you can order, or 11.95 pounds for the full hot breakfast. The food is good and the restaurant is large and comfortable. On the plus side, our room - with a queen bed - was large, the bathroom and closet were generously large, and the room furnishing is simple but quite functional. Worth being this close to the airport to make sure you are timely for your flight, especially flying to the US, which definitely takes 3 hrs as you go through Ireland security followed by US-specific security that is a long walk away and repeats all the standard airport security processes!!

We stayed here after a long flight into Dublin Airport and were surprised how close it is to the airport! Less than 10 minute drive to a lovely little town with many nice restaurants and bars. You can also drive into Malahide in less than 10 minute too. The hotel itself was lovely with a large room and nice bathroom. The staff were very friendly and there is parking at the hotel. There is a bar on site so it can be a little loud but there wasn’t noise too late at night so I wouldn’t let this put anyone off staying here

The hotel was good and fit our needs. The room was big and comfortable with a very big bed. They were able to provide a travel cot for our 9 month old child, which was very helpful. There is a regular shuttle service to the airport, from what we could see larger than the other hotels at the airport. Would use again for Duvlin airport if needed.

From booking our stay to checkout, our entire experience was excellent. This is a 4 star, airport hotel, yes... but it's park location, proximity to the city and decor that would be at home in a gorgeous boutique hotel makes for an altogether elevated experience. Nadia could not have done more for us when we called to book and she really set the standard from the get go. Check in was smooth and pleasant and while the room was probably one of the last ones that hasn't been renovated it was huge, clean, comfortable, stylish (maybe very slightly dated) and had everything we could possibly need. The bed was huge and extremely comfortable, the shower pressure was good and the toiletries were all lovely. The little room snacks were also high quality and very nice. Every other member of staff we interacted with was extremely professional and personable, especially the waiting staff in the bar, where were had 2 very nice coffees. The breakfast was also extremely good and checkout was quick and painless. A taxi to the Grafton St area will set you back about €20 and the number 16 bus goes by, just outside the park very regularly. The parking facilities are excellent and the airport shuttle is incredibly convenient, modern and very clean. It's such a good all rounder. I could not recommend this hotel highly enough. I think this is the best value 4 Star in Dublin.

We had previously stayed in this hotel with our son when we were in Blanchardstown for a rugby event. This time my wife and I spent a night in the hotel to celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary. I had told Graham who was the reception manager about our anniversary and he arranged for chocolates and cake to be delivered to our room. Graham also arranged for us to have a Premium room, which was beautifully decorated. We spent a lovely day in Blanchardstown and enjoyed having breakfast in the room, which was first class and piping hot. I can not recommend this hotel highly enough and have already done so to my friends, we will definitely return!

This is a 4 star, airport hotel, yes... but it's park location, proximity to the city and decor that would be at home in a gorgeous boutique hotel makes for an altogether elevated experience. Nadia could not have done more for us when we called to book and she really set the standard from the get go. Check in was smooth and pleasant and while the room was probably one of the last ones that hasn't been renovated it was huge, clean, comfortable, stylish (maybe very slightly dated) and had everything we could possibly need. The bed was huge and extremely comfortable, the shower pressure was good and the toiletries were all lovely. The little room snacks were also high quality and very nice. Every other member of staff we interacted with was extremely professional and personable, especially the waiting staff in the bar, where were had 2 very nice coffees. The breakfast was also extremely good and checkout was quick and painless. A taxi to the Grafton St area will set you back about €20 and the number 16 bus goes by, just outside the park very regularly. The parking facilities are excellent and the airport shuttle is incredibly convenient, modern and very clean. It's such a good all rounder. I could not recommend this hotel highly enough. I think this is the best value 4 Star in Dublin.

The hotel has a free shuttle to and from the airport, and there is a bus to and from the city center within a 5-minute walk, so it is more convenient than similar. The time I checked in was during the renovation period of the hotel, so it did n’t matter because I did n’t stay in the hotel for a long time. The hotel has a free breakfast. Although the style is small, it is enough to satisfy the hunger. Overall, it is satisfactory.

This is a decent hotel by Irish standards but still has all the usual pitfalls of hotels in Ireland. We arrive at 3:30 to be told room isn’t ready and checkin isn’t until 4pm in any case. Annoying but no biggie. We got a family room which was quite spacious with a great view of the golf course and coast. Bathroom wasn’t great - shower not v good. Pillows big and hard. Food at the hotel the usual fare of big hearty portions of the standard offerings ie fish n chips, burgers, Caesar salads etc. That’s ok after a game of golf but when on holidays for a few weeks, I crave menus with something light and inventive. The staff were all helpful and polite. The hotel is definitely the best option in the locality

Want to give special thanks to Austin who couldn't do enough for us throughout the day. You made our day very special and looked after our family and friends .I would highly recommend this hotel for the welcome the service. The staff.the food absolutely excellent. This is a bit of a mixed bag; perfectly OK to stay for a single night before flying out, but for several days if you have to work, then maybe consider one of the Hiltons near the City centre. The good bits: -Hotel foyer & restaurant has a good layout -Parking is available in the underground car park Food in the restaurant is good For improvement: -Hotel corridors are dingy... carpets need replacing and so too lighting. It's a bit depressing -Rooms are ok (there are refurbished rooms that you might get), but if facing the road - a bit noisy -Aircon terrible... mind of its own -Service in the restaurant is incredibly slow. Took 2hrs to get meal, and of the three that served us, there was no intervention to check nor when we pointed out the wait, any immediate offer to resolve.. and it was undercooked. -The gym is small for a hotel of this size -Location is 10~15min from airport and 30 to the City via the toll tunnel. Above all, the restaurant service needs fixing and more attention made to how long dishes are taking. It's basic stuff really.

Was very disappointed with room seemed a bit worn or well lived in, but thankfully we only checked in at 16.30 and checked out 5am following morning. Restaurant service, food, drinks and staff were 100% perfect. Car parking was OK too, really short shuttle ride to airport and only a short wait 15mins for collection back to car. So really only let down for me was the room, I'm guessing if you stayed longer you would get a better class of room? other than that good job and staff are a credit to this hotel

My husband and I spent our last two nights of our week in Ireland here. Perfect location near Dublin and the airport. We were able to take the train into Dublin for a day of exploring and Mary was wonderful giving us directions and parking tips for the train station. She was a perfect hostess, remembering us by name and her homemade breakfasts were delicious. Our room was cozy and the bed very comfortable. The location is close to town but there aren't good walking paths so we did drive everywhere. Thank you Mary for a wonderful stay!

This was the most expensive hotel of our ten day trip to Ireland (more than 200E) and we chose it only because of the proximity to the airport. The pictures on the Internet made it seem nice and modern but they were deceiving. The first room we got smelled like cigarette smoke even though it was supposed to be non-smoking. The hallways also smelled like smoke. The second room we got was dirty -- an old sock was left on the floor and there were hairs on the bed. The tv remote was so old the numbers were worn off and the remote was missing the battery cover. The tv was also unplugged from the cable for some reason. The rooms are very small -- think college dorm size or cruise ship. The hotel and the rooms I saw are in dire need of renovation - the elevator creaked every time it was used. The only positive things I have to say is that the breakfast was pretty good (buffet), it is close to the airport, and the front desk personnel were friendly. However, I wanted to get out of the place as soon as I could because it felt so dirty. Even the McDonald's across the street felt elegant compared to this hotel. The Maldron Hotel Dublin Airport was by far the worst place I stayed in Ireland and an unfortunate ending to an otherwise nice trip. Surprisingly the hotel was packed with travelers when we were there, given that it was so bad.
