Belle's at Montville

We haven’t stayed at Belles for 7 years and it was just as beautiful, clean and well maintained as it was back then with an added bathroom renovation! There was such amazing home made food and so much to eat and snack on. It was the perfect romantic getaway for a long weekend! 😍 10/10

The Christo Belle cottage was absolutely amazing!! We loved every minute of our 2 night stay there...was so hard to leave. We felt so pampered with everything the beautiful cottage had to offer for a luxurious stay. Loved the additional extras (options) that we were able to request like the cheese & dessert plates with the produce/food being locally sourced. All the food provided in the cottage, including the breakfast was superb. The location is incrediblystunning, with so much beautiful birdlife & being set amongst the trees. Loved the privacy & seclusion of the cottage as well. Thank you Julie & Noel for providing & creating this amazing experience & beautiful piece of paradise!! Can't wait for our next stay there.

We spent 4 nights staying at Belles and it was amazing. We chose to stay at Christo Belle and the only problem is that we wished it was for longer! I don't know where to begin with the review - Julie's friendly greeting, the tranquil setting, the visiting kookaburras, the luxurious bed (best sleep ever!), the accommodation that has everything you need (and more!), the wonderful food provided, the thoughtful touches were everywhere. It was our first visit to the Hinterlands and so we made the most of some lovely walks and exploring nearby. We hope we can return one day as it was one of the most special places we have stayed at.

Our recent stay was truly exceptional, every detail from the elegant decor to the thoughtful extras was impeccable. Noel and Julie’s hospitality was amazing and respectful for our stay. The Gourmet food, showcasing local ingredients and Julie’s culinary skills was awesome. We left from our stay feeling rejuvenated and already planning our return. Belles at Montville is a hidden gem and the perfect destination for a romantic getaway.

Wow! 11/10 for Belle’s at Montville!! We were lucky enough to have stayed in the stunning Christo Belle for our Honeymoon and have been back since. Such a picturesque little cottage nestled in amongst the rainforest and the stunning gardens surrounded, don’t go unnoticed. We booked directly with Julie and not only was it cheaper, a delectable breakfast was also included! From the homemade goodies for breakfast to the little touches of perfection, certainly made this a trip to remember. The attention to detail inside and out is incredible! Two stays down, many more to come!

We stayed in the Belle Amie studio and Julie and Noel were the perfect hosts. The cleanliness, personal touch and attention to detail made it the most relaxing and enjoyable stay we’ve ever had! The homemade bread and raspberry jam was such a treat as well as the carefully selected delicious breakfast items, choices of teas and coffee and local produce. Everything you need to have a perfectly relaxing stay has been thought of and provide, you won’t be disappointed! Highly recommend!

Belle Amie cabin review... favourite feature = the fire place, we could sit and watch that for hours from the cosy sofa OR from the softest bed & pillows. The soft lighting (lamps, candle & fire) and soft fluffy furnishings (pillows, quilts, throws, cushions, complimentary slippers and cloud like dressing gowns) ooze a luxurious ambiance. The cabin smells incredible as well all the little scent touches here and there add to the experience, it really is a sensory retreat away. Views of the lush green forest surround, we sat for hours with the door slightly open to hear the tranquil sound of birds - not only do you hear them you get to see a variety of birds flutter by in the nearby trees and yes on the decking right outside the front door - we loved getting that close to nature. What surprised us the most was the loving effort you could feel that was put into making our stay a special one, the love hearts on the bed throw, the way the cabins presented to you as you walk in & the abundance of yummy homemade goodies Julie and Noel so generously provide really wowed us. We had everything that we needed and more! You have complete privacy as well which makes everything feel even more cosy & special. We J'adored that we didn't have phone or internet signal in the cabin, it really made us be present in the moment and enjoy the place to the fullest without the distraction of technology - another surprise that we were very grateful for. We cannot thank Noel and Julie enough for everything they put into our stay we really are grateful for such an enjoyable experience. Two other cabins we most definitely have our eye on to book for the future. Its super close to Montville high street as well which meant popping out was super easy and quick if we desired it. I highly recommend booking for a romantic break away from the busyness of life and technology, getting back in touch with nature, one another and the present moment.

There aren’t enough stars to rate this, 5/5 is selling it short. By far the nicest place we have ever stayed. Not only is the setting and accommodation gorgeous and immaculately clean, but the attention to detail is incredible. From the robes and slippers, the home made yogurts, bread and jams to the amply stocked breakfast supplies and Nespresso machine. And not to forget the port by the fire in the evening. Our second stay at Belle’s at Montville was as luxurious and restful as our first. Before you even enter the cabin the birdsong weaves its magic and reminds you of the beauty of your surroundings. Walking through the door the pleasant aroma, fresh flowers and luxury of the finishes welcome you to your beautiful temporary home. It is the attention to detail and focus on the finer points that make Belle’s stand out. From the breakfast provisions, to the super comfortable bed, to the quality of the toiletries; every choice has been made to elevate the guests experience. Belle’s is a great place to unwind and relax. We will be back again.
