Homewood Suites by Hilton Florence Reviews

I have stayed at this hotel many times in the past. All of the stuff here are super nice. At the front desk, Kaiya was super friendly and nice. Everyday, breakfast was great and Wednesday night happy hour was super. All the meals at the hotel, Gene took care of them. She was excellent. I M sure I will be back again to this location.

Based on the reviews, we opted to stay here for an overnight stay on our way home. If we had looked at the room beforehand, we would have left immediately. At first glance it was ok, but after bringing in suitcases, we realized how dirty it really was. Handles to anything: refrigerator, towel bars, etc., were all greasy feeling and smeared. The shower floor had not been cleaned in a while, yellow scum all around the base, disgusting. One tissue left in the box and no other boxes in room. We were really disappointed. The carpet in the hall not only was it ugly but it was stained too. Never again

This place is amazing. The breakfast is one of the best free breakfast I’ve ever had. They have a Wednesday night get together that is phenomenal. Janeen takes care of both the breakfast and the get-together. She is an amazing lady.. The other staff are great.. but Janeen is one-of-a-kind and amazing lady. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone.. I usually don’t write reviews, but this place is wonderful.

The front lobby was spacious, and new. I loved the coffee and tea station. Rooms were beautiful and clean. Kaiya at evening check-in was lovely and polite. Every staff member had a smile. They have a full gym with cables, free weights, and plenty of cardio machines. Only small issue was the empty shampoo bottle while showering. Genean was a breath of fresh air at the breakfast station. If we return to Florence, we will look forward to staying here.

We have stayed at this hotel once before with no issue but we were placed in what appeared to be an older version of the suites. The room was disappointingly dirty and didn’t look as if it had been vacuumed-smears on the kitchen area cabinets, closet doors and full length mirror in the bedroom (see photos) The bedroom end table was sticky, toilet paper holder barely hanging on the wall. We were only staying the night and moving on so I wasn’t going to make a fuss but pretty disgusted with the lack of care taken. Likely won’t stay here again

We stayed here in January and again this April. The hotel is nice and conveniently located. The rooms were clean and the common areas nice, with a good breakfast. Staff is nice and helpful. We will continue to use this location when traveling.

Great space in the hotel and room and everything was very clean. Breakfast was much better than expected for a free breakfast, the grits and bacon were top notch according to my kids!! Also want to say thank you to Victoria who went above and beyond to save our stay when the toilet got clogged and the plunger onsite couldn’t be found. We can’t thank you enough Victoria for going the extra mile especially at such a late hour!! Would definitely recommend this hotel for a quick stop through town or a longer stay.

Wonderful hotel in a nice location in Florence, right off I95. Spacious and spotlessly clean with a comfortable bed. We love the layouts of Homewood Suites and always seek them out when on the road. Plus the front desk staff we came across were amazing and super friendly. We will definitely be back.

We stopped here after 12 hrs driving to Fla. Clean, suite with kitchen & separate LR. Well managed and friendly staff. Complimentary breakfast was appreciated since some hotels don’t offer. This location is very close to Many restaurants like Outback But we ate at Mellow mushroom

Excellent stay at the Hilton. The room was accommodating with everything for an amazing evening. The bed was very comfortable without any issues. The breakfast was amazing and well kept. Kudos to the entire staff from the front desk, kitchen personnel, maintenance down to the house keeping staff. Thank you and everywhere that I patronize I always treat as my home...with that being said," cleanliness is next to Godliness."

this was the nocest hotel by the outside and the inside was nice but the room was dirty. The bed sheets were not washed and they had airs in it. The floor was full of coffee and the towels not clean. We had to change the bed sheets by ourselves. Dont be fool

The hotel looks nice and our room was clean. This is where the compliments end. This hotel is so poorly constructed that even if the people above you or next to you are tiptoeing and whispering, it would sound like there was an elephant in the next room. Very little sleep was had due to constant “noise” from neighbors. The woman at the front desk was less than cordial. I don’t expect everyone to be a ray of sunshine, but when greeting guests upon arrival, I would at least expect her to say hello and to look up from her computer at least once. I am a Hilton Diamond member and was extremely disappointed with this stay.

I have stayed at this location several times. The staff are always attentive, from front desk to housekeepers. The room was clean and every staff person was very pleasant. The breakfast was hot and delicious and Ms. Genie went above and beyond to make sure everyone was taken care of. She was very informative about things concerning the hotel, which was very helpful. Also, Ms. McFadden (front desk) was very welcoming and made sure I had what I needed to make my stay comfortable. This is where I’ll stay when I visit Florence. Thanks for such great hospitality!

From the friendliness and helpfulness of the front staff to the cleaning personnel everyone was so accommodating The property and the rooms were clean and so well maintained. The rooms were spacious and had so many amenities.
