Mercure Château de Fontainebleau Demeures de Campagne

It's OK, but the price is still a bit high, and I didn't have much time to experience the swimming pool.

There is a free parking lot. Turn right out of the hotel and walk straight for 5 minutes to reach the Palace of Fontainebleau, which is very convenient. After checking out in the morning, luggage can be stored at the front desk, and the car is still parked at the hotel. But it is not recommended to dine in the hotel, the price is twice as expensive as the restaurant near Fontainebleau Palace. Everything else is good.

Wir übernachteten hier, um ein Event zu besuchen sowie das Château. Gut gelegen (10 min zu Fuss zum Château) mit privaten Parkplätzen und sehr viel Unterhaltung (Pool, konnten wir leider aus mangel an Zeit nicht testen; Tennisplatz, Bouleplatz,schöner Garten ). Suiten haben eine gute Größe, frisch renoviert, nettes Design, kleines aber sauberes Bad mit tollen Nuxe Produkten und sogar Bodylotion, die in vielen Hotels mittlerweile nicht mehr angeboten wird. Tolles bequemes Bett. Cafemaschine und Heißwasserbereiter vorhanden. In der Bar gabs 3 Softdrinks, allerdings gabs nirgends eine Preisliste. Frühstück ok aber nicht hervorragend. Zu Stosszeiten ist es müssig, bei den 3 Nespressomaschinen an Cafe zu kommen, Cappuccino gibt’s dadurch gar nicht erst. Das Nachfüllen ging schleppend, teils keine Konfitüre geschweige denn Teller mehr da. Leider gab es als Accor Gold Member nur einen Getränkegutschein, den ich gar nicht erst annahm. Dies ist eines der wenigen Accor Hotels, wo die Begleitung keinen Voucher bekommt - schade! Alles in allem kommen wir gerne wieder! Besonders das Personal war super freundlich.

Établissement bien situé à quelques minutes à pied du château et dans un quartier au calme,très pratique pour aller au centre et visiter le château. Accueil conforme,personnel avenant et a votre service. Parking extérieur dispo gratis. Petite piscine chauffée appréciée pour une petite détente. Chambre spacieuse et grand lit double confortable ! Nous avons pris le repas du soir sur site,rien a dire sur le service, les plats viande ou poisson très bon malgré un prix du vin en verre un peu exagéré. Petit-déjeuner standard aux prestations de cet hôtel. Globalement satisfait de notre séjour avec un coût correspondant au niveau de qualité supérieure de l'établissement.

I'll start with a positive point about the attitude of the staff, who are both welcoming and smiling! Apart from this positive point, the stay was very disappointing, the room was just ok! On the other hand, the water in the swimming pool was very dirty, the lack of maintenance is glaring. Breakfast service was chaotic. The crockery was chipped, the Nespresso machines were not suitable for the size of the room, the water tanks were constantly empty. Presence of hair in the butter dish at the buffet, mediocre products..... Tables cleared but not straightened. No supervision regarding the service!!! The Mercure label is starting to lose its reputation as this is the second consecutive stay that has deeply disappointed us in an establishment under the Mercure label.

Nice hotel, we had a good time. Too bad their card to access the rooms is deactivated so quickly. Forced to repeatedly ask for a new card at reception. Otherwise apart from that it was perfect. 😊
