I have stayed at Footscray motor inn numerous times & I've honestly never had any issues at all.
The spa is great, the rooms are clean & perfect sizing for how ever many people are staying.
Reception are wonderful.
The location is perfect whether you have a car or on transport the tram & a few different buses right at the doorstep train station within walking distance.
Plenty of choices for shops if needed.
Only thing I'd suggest that could be better is maybe a microwave & or toaster. Also some cutlery & crockery but that's all.

The location was convenient, however it was not a very nice place to stay. Why? Well....
- Pillows were so old they were separating on the inside,
- The mattress was hard and uncomfortable,
- There was mould under the kitchen cupboards,
- No plates or cutlery, only 1 teaspoon,
- There was no restaurant on the property,
- The laundry was a dark dingy room that I was afraid to enter,
- Dirty bedding trolleys stored right outside our door,
- Dirty ashtrays outside rooms, promoting smoking on the premises (right at the door of each room).
- Walls in the room where scuffed and dirty
The only reason we stayed is because other places that we wanted to move to were booked.

Taps and shower head leak and do not turn off properly.

Iron burn on carpet, aircon stuck on 27*, hair and mold in the bathroom, marks on the linen, large gap under entry door. Very noisy as well.
