Stayed at The Constance last Friday for an event and was such a delight. Perfect location for all night life, everything is in walking distance. Greeted and served by the loveliest reception staff, I wish I had of asked for your name - the sweet filo receptionist made us feel so special and welcomed for the night. The room was a little smaller than the pictures but super modern and exciting change from our usual hotel stays, loved all the art and the cute courtyard out back. The bed was the absolute highlight of our stay though 😅 felt like a cloud, we really struggled getting up in the morning because it was so comfy. Overall a lovely little spot to spend the night, thanks staff! Miss Lyric x

Lovely staff here and a great little hotel. We only stayed for one night sadly. It will be even better once they open more of the rooftop fun times. It was our honeymoon and they left us a special extra :)

Breakfast is very good. The chef orders it now: omelet, shredded cheese, vegetables, mushrooms, etc. It's great. Other kinds of bread, fresh juice coffee tea. Meat has sausages, bacon. Peach apple, cantaloupe, pineapple and other fruits, a kind of Danone fruit yoghurt. All in all, including early value

My friend and I only stayed one night (wish we had booked 2) in this delightful boutique hotel. The customer service was second to none (special thanks to Mitchell for looking after us) and all staff very welcoming and friendly. We had a room on the ground floor easily accessible to reception area but very quiet and to the side of the building. Although on a main road the soundproofing ensured no traffic noise. Our large room room with twin beds (beds a little hard and not king singles) also had a balcony so we could open up the glass doors for fresh air and in the evening the trees were decorated in fairy lights so a lovely outlook. Blockout curtains, good size TV (no Foxtel) and complimentary water and juice in fridge which was a nice touch. Good water pressure in the shower and nice bathroom amenities. Onsite undercover parking is provided for a small fee but make sure you book in advance as spots are limited. Only a short walk to the bus stop for buses into the city or Suncorp stadium and close to the cafes and restaurant ***** of Fortitude Valley. Will definitely stay here again on my next visit to Brisbane - highly recommended.

The check-in process was pretty smooth, and the reply was quick, but the floor of the house was a bit scary, and the rest of the use was smooth, but the dryer part, the use method should be noted, because the number of clothes to be dried cannot be large. Parking is also quite convenient (street parking is too expensive).

Check in was good with a very friendly and informative front desk Concierge. Our room was tidy and neat but it did not have a view of the Story Bridge as stated in our booking. So we went down to the front desk who quickly upgraded our booking to the next floor up with a bigger room and the most fantastic view of the Story Bridge from the lounge and bedroom. The hotel is situated walking distance to the Botanical Gardens, Southbank and City. We had breakfast supplied in our booking but the restaurant was only for take away so we had a voucher to spend on coffee and cabinet food which was OK. I Would recommend staying at Oakwood but make sure your room has a view of the bridge...Its totally worth the experience.
