Aloft Nanhai Foshan Reviews

This was a great little hotel with very clean and modern facilities. My only complaint was that I was there in June and it was frightfully hot. The bedroom faced the setting sun which meant that I either enjoyed the setting sun and roasted myself or blacked out the room to enjoy some relief. The location was excellent, just a short walk from food street shops and shopping malls. Word of warning, Foshan Airport is a military airport so there are no facilities inside.

The hotel was average. The heating system was not good enough to keep you warm especially in the wintertime.

The room design is creative, but a lot of space is wasted. The bedroom is narrow, the bathroom is too old, the central air conditioning is not well insulated, and there is a large puddle of water on the floor when you enter the room.

The hotel is located in the center of Shishan Town, Nanhai, Foshan, close to Shishan Town Government and Nanhai Sports Center, and close to large shopping malls. It is suitable for fans who come to watch the Chinese League One. The hotel's environment and facilities are OK, and the breakfast is rich in variety. The hotel has an indoor swimming pool and a gym. The swimming pool does not seem to have a lifeguard. 

The front desk staff, Xiao Huang, warmly received me and checked me in quickly. He introduced the surrounding area and was very professional. Xiao Zhang and Xiao Meng also quickly checked me out when I checked out. They also kindly told me that I needed to scan the parking code so I didn't have to run back and forth. The hotel service is good

The hotel room was very unhygienic, there were bug bites in the room (as shown in the picture), and there were nearly 10 bug bites on my legs after one night (probably fleas), so I changed rooms the next day. The hotel pre-sold breakfast for 68 yuan per person when checking in, and clearly stated that it could be refunded if not consumed. When checking out, the bill still recorded the unconsumed items in the bill and informed that it could not be refunded. After negotiation, a refund was given, but the hotel stated that the bill amount could not be changed (the unconsumed amount was recorded in the bill) and the amount of the invoice received was inconsistent with the bill amount.

I booked this hotel to take my child out for a weekend trip. The child suddenly had a high fever in the middle of the night, so I ordered takeout and medicine. I can understand that takeout cannot be delivered to the room normally. But can special circumstances be handled specially? They said that there was no one at the front desk and they couldn’t deliver it to me. I had to go downstairs to get it myself. The child with a high fever was in the room and vomited. Is this the right service attitude? The next morning, I took some cold medicine, but they didn’t deliver it. They said it was the hotel’s rules. The night before, they said that it was inconvenient to deliver it because one person was on duty at the front desk. The next morning, two people were working at the front desk and they said that it was the hotel’s rules not to deliver it. **The rider couldn’t stand it anymore and climbed up the stairs to deliver the medicine to me! I have nothing to say about the hygiene of the bathroom. See for yourself.

This hotel is very suitable for taking children to competitions. The room is large enough, the practical space is good, and it is just opposite the sports center, the location is very good!

It is very close to Nanhai Stadium, and it only takes 5-10 minutes to walk to the swimming pool. It is the nearest hotel to Nanhai Stadium, with convenient parking. There are many choices for eating around, including a food street, and the service is also very good. In short, at this price, it is very close to the stadium, and you can go back to take a nap at noon before going to the game. There is an elevator to the overpass at the entrance of the hotel, and you can walk to the stadium from the overpass.

The hotel service is good, equipped with a swimming pool and a gym, but the decoration of the room is a bit old, it is estimated that it has not been renovated for a long time. This time I stayed to watch the music festival, and there is a stadium opposite.

The hotel has a lake view. The whole floor-to-ceiling window allows you to see the lake and mountains and the neon night scene, which is refreshing. The hotel lobby is magnificent, the front desk staff is attentive, the twin room is spacious and bright, and I like its washbasin, toilet and bathroom are separated into three parts. The stay experience is very good. I will recommend this hotel to my family and friends.
