Room was extremely nice & spacious, one of those situation whereby the experience & been there is better than the photos online. Lake View’s nice too.

I really enjoy the stay at Lakeland Hotel ! The room is perfectly clean and the service is excellent. But we were kinda unlucky cus the weather was awful, couldn’t see Fuji at all. Pls book with meals, it’s totally worth it !

Unique Japanese style hotel with amazing view of Mt. Fuji and Onsen available to all guests. It’s definitely a wonderful experience for us. If you want to experience traditional Japanese culture, I highly recommend this hotel. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Room is spacious and special. The hotel is a little old. A big park with lake is just right across the street. We enjoyed our time at this hotel!

Just beside the Lake, Very convenient to and from the station. The onsen is awesome with Mt. Fuji view. There are many restaurants nearby as well.

Excellent stay and will return again

Upon check in, front desk informed they have to charge us 3,000 yen for each child and 1,000 yen for using the futon on each night with no additional meal for kids. We end up having to pay additional 24,000 yen for our 3 nights stay including tourist tax for 2 adults. Greatly disappointed the onsen was not natural spring water. I smelt chlorine in the water. After soaking in, my body smelt of chlorine too. I asked the front desk again on the onsen if it’s natural spring water, he assured me yes. But there’s no sulphuric smell and milkiness in the water. His language wasn’t strong to understand and replied the water from our room can be drank! For the price we paid, it’s expensive and not worth. Ryokan is super old and past its prime time. Please do not book this hotel. Also communication was difficult as the front desk staff proficiency of the language was basic.

Not many people use the public hot springs, and there are skin care products for you to use. Breakfast and dinner are very Japanese style with rich items. There is also a shuttle bus from Kawaguchiko Station.

You can clearly see Mount Fuji from the bath in the room🗻. The room is spacious and well-divided. The staff is attentive and the tea in the room is delicious. Yukata are provided for you to wear in the hotel. The large hot spring in the hotel is also very comfortable. Men and women switch hot springs every day so you can see different scenery. #One stay, two meals

There was a hotel bus to pick up and drop off from Kawaguchiko Station, and I rented a private bath room. Overall, I was satisfied. The food at the hotel and dinner were all rich Japanese cuisine. I was satisfied.

It is a very quaint Japanese hotel. The rooms are Japanese tatami, which is very unique. The facilities are obviously older. Overall, it is a very good experience.

You can see Mount Fuji directly from the outside of the room, which is very close and beautiful. The staff also helped us put on yukata. She was a very kind aunt and the bow tie she tied was so cute! recommend!
