Hotels in Ga West with Swimming Pools

I used to come to the bar with a friend mostly for lunch..after work. The food was tasty and the servers were friendly too..the only problem i had all this while was the delay of food..but i always vented out to the servers and we both laughed over it every time. They are super cool though..and washrooms are clean too. Looking forward to using their hotel services and hope the foods come on time

My 14 days quarantine experience at this Hill View Hotel at McCarthy Hill has been like a well planned, excellent vacation needed after a long flight to Ghana, in the mist of a pandemic. I feel safe, well nourished, rested and so 'spoiled' by the whole team caring for my stay in these challenging times. My meals are always cooked and served hot; they include daily breakfast, lunch & dinner. *I will encourage travelers going to Ghana, secure your place at Hill View Hotels for the best experience. One is located at McCarthy Hill and the other at West Airport area, all under the same management, a family owned hotel business. *Please, make sure that you don't confuse Hill View Hotels with any other name(s). Call the hotel directly from your online research number and let your enquiries help you make informed decisions. I thank Hill View Hotels management for taking me in for my required 14 days quarantine by Ghana immigration authorities and turning it into a pleasant and nourishing experience for me. We were definitely surprised to find a gem at the end of a dusty, rocky road. We were greeted upon arrival and led to a VERY spacious room that had a balcony overlooking the lush grounds. It was lovely to look out through the coconut palms and see the stretch of sand for a very long way. We had fresh fish, prawns and lobster - even the tomatoes tasted so sweet and flavorful. The highlight of the meals were the Ghanaian specialties. I felt like there was an auntie in the kitchen blending spices and secrets to plate our meals everyday. The hotel is adjacent to a beach that non-guests pay a small fee to enter. I imagine it wold be crowded and littered and out of control were it not for this gatekeeper. As a hotel guest, my quick boat ride was free. The beach was fairly empty when I went, which I was glad for. There were not any chaise loungers but the attendant quickly put a chair under a thatch hut . I was offered a menu but did not eat anything while on the beach. There were no annoying vendors which was a huge PLUS; only a horseback rider who kept it moving when I declined. The sunrise, and the sunset couldn't have been more beautiful. Hats off to the hotel servers (Carol, Linda) and the cooks, they made sure that the food was always worth waiting for. Don't be in a hurry, just relax with a glass of wine and the Afrobeats playing through the ocean breeze. Even the housekeepers, Janet and Grace, were super sweet and conscientious going out of their way to do our laundry as our luggage was delayed. Thank you to the owner for helping arrange many trips to the airport to try to recover our luggage. The managers were extremely accommodating, even offered us a bottle of wine to take away our troubles upon arrival. It was a stay to remember.
