Geneva Residence

I booked 3 rooms from Agoda on 02/10/2023. I cancelled the booking after 5 mins as I booked the worng date. I received the email cancelled booking with non refundable my booking. I called Agoda customer serive for help but they said they could not do anything as the hotel refused to refund. Then I requested to reinstate my booking if they did not refund it. But Geneva Residence refused to refund or reinstate the booking. I eamil direct to hotel but no reply. then I did phone call but not pick up the call. Really bad experience.

The interior of the residence was disgusting and extremely shabby. Both the exterior and the inside of the apartement were filled with grime and dirt in different places of the apartment. They had stains on the carpet of unknown substances such as dirt and the curtains were physically stuck to the walls and window due to mold and built up dust trapped on the unwashed curtains. The bathroom was no different to the rest of the residence, there was no toilet paper dispenser, and they provided us with no rolls either, we had to get our own. Plug sockets were broken, the couch was stained, hooks were broken and the doors and walls had paint peeling and more stained marks. Not only did the apartment have terrible physical condition, there was a putrid smell of cigarettes which they clearly didn't even care to fix. The website is complete false advertsing, they are using fake pictures which you don't get anything even similiar. The whole apartment, the website and all the lies you are told are just apart of the scam that the owners schemed. Do not book this residence if you want to have an enjoyable stay in France or Switzerland.

The place is very basic. The toilet is less than basic and it wasn't working properly. The reception works only for 2 hrs in the morning and 3 hrs in the evening so I used to go out before they start and return after they close so I never got the chance to complain about my room it was at the last floor and all might I would hear squeaking sounds on the roof so I wasn't able to sleep properly. No cleaning during the stay and we even have to empty the trash and throw it away
