This was, by far, the worse HGI I have ever stayed at!! $165 for one night at a place where the elevator doors barely opened and were squeaking and shaking as it opened. Once inside the elevator, the whole thing was shaking and was extremely slow getting from floor to floor. I was on the 6th floor so I couldn't carry my luggage up the steps. When I did get to my room, the odor of must and "old" just filled the room! The "white" blanket on the bed was stained with several brown spots and the pillows inside the old pillow cases were yellowed with age. I was SO tired after driving all day but there was no way I could lay on that bed. I went to the local Walmart and bought Febreeze air refresher (used more than half the can), a new pillow and pillow case and TWO new blankets. One to put on top of the stained bed cover and one to use for sleeping. I should have asked the hotel to take $50 off my bill for the amount that I had to spend. When I left the hotel,I threw the blankets away because I was afraid of bringing home bed bugs. Not that I swim in hotel pools, but even if I wanted to...the pool was disgustingly dirty, like it hadn't been cleaned all summer. I would absolutely NOT recommend this hotel!
