Rodeway Inn Hot Springs National Park Area

This is an older facility, but it is obvious that the owners really care about it and take a lot of pride in it. Yes, it could stand to be completely refurbished and made to look new - at a higher room price, too. But it is very clean and well maintained. I especially appreciated the triple sheeting which made everything about the room feel so much fresher and cleaner - not too often seen in this price range of rooms.

The nice lady was able to check us in early! Bernis, greeted us with a warm welcome when we returned from the races, his kindness is amazing! Giving kudos to the 2 ladies that work the bistro in the morning...it was nice to wake up, have a great cup of coffee with happy people! We liked that the hotel was away from down town ”main tourist area” but close enough to the horse track, and centrally located between restaurants. The hotel and rooms were very clean!! We didn't mind the new policy ”schedule room service”, it seems to be the new normal! Amazing staff with great location, we'll defiantly stay here again.
Home2 Suites by Hilton Hot Springs

We have stayed at several Hone 2 suites and have always been pleased with our stay. This time not so much. Got to the hotel about 3pm and used the mobile check in and had no problems. When we walked two employees were standing in the lobby and they couldn’t be torn away from their conversation to greet us with a simple hello. The shower door was broken and would only shut if you pressed on it to get it in the track. There was no body wash in the shower dispenser which wouldn’t have been a problem if there had been even a bar of soap. When we opened the pull out the sheets had not been changed and were very dirty. I called the front desk to get some clean ones and was told I would have to come get them if I wanted them. There was dirty dishes in the dishwasher and only one small trash can in the bathroom. Next morning I went to get a coffee and at 9/930 they had cleared all the breakfast food. Seemed kinda early to me. Lots of their signage is about their commitment to cleanliness, but it didn’t show in the condition of the room. I will choose another Hilton next time, won’t stay at that one again.

The Waters Hot Springs, Tapestry Collection by Hilton

Great location. We upgraded to the best king room. It was huge, very clean, updated good bathroom...but only one chair. No table to sit drinks on. Not worth the cost for the upgrade. The room was quite warm at night, too warm to sleep well, and the temp didn't seem to change despite any changes to the thermostat. The breakfast at the hotel was good, but quite expensive. The roof top bar/grill was really fun - great views, and generally less expensive than breakfast.
