The hotel was dingy and stairwell carpeting looks like it hasn't clean in months. Comforter on bed was stained, no hot water, horrible job vacuuming and refrigerator not working. Management needs to be train staff on how to properly operate a hotel and as well as how to train staff.

This property is smelly, has no elevator and feels unclean. I'm not a high strung person and usually don't complain but the room wreaked and after staying there, so did I. The sheets and blankets were stained and the TV was out of order. The wifi did work and the staff were helpful. It's just not a clean or refreshing place to stay.

1st time ever at a Best Western where there were issues like this. Terrible musty odor, and shower that was barely usable. While the tub faucet had plenty of water pressure, the shower was just a trickle. We should have asked for another room.

We arrived and checked in Thursday ( 9-7-2023 ) afternoon and the front desk noted that I had reserved an ADA ROOM. I was issued electronic keys to room 117. I was assured it had a walk-in shower. ( No Tub ). We had to drive around and down to the back side of the Hotel. The Room Faced I-85. We parked only to see the door to 117 was open and Maintenance was busy installing a flat screen on the wall. The fellow supervising the work told us to come back later. He would call us. Then he offered to let me see the bathroom which HAD A TUB. So they decided to run and exchange the keys for the room next door. ( ROOM 118 ). The room was extremely warm and the A/C was set to 60 but it wasn't cooling. I was told to let it run and it would cool the room. 23 hours later the A/C had cooled the room. The First thing I noticed was the door didn't fit the door frame. To fix the problem the latch had been moved forward so the door would lock. Then foam insulation was added to fill the gap to try to keep the warm air out. The Room faced Interstate 85 and right next to the EXIT. LOUD ROAD NOISE 24/7 from heavy traffic, fire & Rescue, and the TRUCKS constantly releasing the air from their lines as they braked to exit. Then climbing onto the bed, the bed base was wrapped in sheet metal, and any movement on the mattress caused the metal to flex and make noise. Those cute little pillows on the beds. I laid down and as my head hit the first pillow I could smell a heavy odor of SWEAT. So glad I travel with my own pillows. Moving on to the Walk-in Shower. The shower had a homemade ramp to enable a Wheelchair to get up into the shower. The Standard CURVED Shower ROD was hung extra high which made the standard Shower curtain 8 inches too short. Water from the shower flowed out onto the tile floor flooding it. Then of course there were only TWO bath TOWELS. There was a cute sign on the counter that read please don't put the towels on the floor but rather hang them up to be reused again. My two towels were needed to mop up the water from the flood. I called the front desk and asked for more towels. She asked how many and I said four. We were planning on staying 3 nights. - Housekeeping had left for the day when I called at 6 PM and we were leaving to go for dinner so I was told Maintenance would bring them. When we returned to the room around 9 PM we found 3 bath towels, several hand towels and wash clothes on the bed. Getting ready for bed. Listening to the road noise, with the whine of the A/C fan and a very distinct odor from a skunk penetrating our room. I could see a family of skunks that must have come up from the overgrowth below the back parking lot and were looking for something between the steak house next door and the Best Western Parking lot. We were treated to the odor several times during each night. On the last day ( Saturday ) I received a call asking if The people who installed the

Falling apart, not clean, BUGS, even dead bugs are not acceptable - "Free Breakfast" was overpriced at that, food was old and stale like the hotel. tiny TVs barely work. Low Water Pressure, flimsy door locks. grumpy uncaring staff. No Elevator, No Fitness room, no Pool. too close to highway with curtains that don't close completely so it's never dark. will never stay at Best Western again.

This is a standard Best Western with comfortable rooms and hot breakfast. Very friendly staff. But, the most important thing is that they are extremely conscientious. They went out of their way to call me to tell me I had left my medication in the room. I was already over 100 miles from the location, but they offered to mail them to me. Within three days, I had my meds delivered to my door. That made me so happy and grateful that it made me an even happier BW customer.

The hotel appears to be clean and well maintained. Situated next to a Texas Road house and a Cracker Barrel so easy to walk to a restaurant. Some road noise from the Interstate, so I left the air conditioner fan on constant mode and that made it less noticeable. Breakfast had less selection than other Best Westerns. However, I would stay here again.

This is a good spot the location is great because you can see it from the highway and it is located near a few places to eat, you can literally walk out the door to Waffle House and racker Barrel and around the corner to Bojangles but none of this creates noise or disruption to your stay. My room was spacious, clean and thankfully did not have a moldy smell like a competitor during my last visit. The staff is welcoming and helpful but do not pester you during your stay. I received texts to check in to see how my stay was and to see if I needed anything, There is adequate parking both in the front and in the back of the establishment. There is a computer in the lobby for guests to use if needed. Overall, I will stay again.
