The transportation is convenient. The hotel is near the airport. It's easy to find. It's very suitable for friends who want to catch a plane and stay overnight

Best location if you are willing to catch an early train at Geneva Airport, clean bed and toilet facilities to let you relax and recover quickly if you are taking a long trip.

The Geneva Marriott is an attractive, contemporary hotel located roughly near the airport, and since the shuttle doesn't run that often, you might be better off making the walk, as I did. For me it was a matter of some 20 minutes, but depending on your starting point at the airport, it could easily be less. Much closer to the hotel is the quite large Balexert shopping mall at 7 or 8 minutes' walk. The center of town can be also be walked to, as the way is rather straightforward, though it is noticeably farther than the airport, making the trams that stop very close to the hotel an option. Of course you will have to ask for your free Geneva public transport card, as the hotel makes no mention of these at its own initiative. I liked the fact that I was offered a late checkout immediately on arrival. I didn't like hearing that breakfast is available to platinum Marriott Rewards members in the executive lounge only, a marked departure from standard practice elsewhere in Europe - not just at Marriotts, but also, for example, at their large American competitor also located near the airport. As it was, when I was ready for breakfast on the morning of my one-night stay, it turned out that something had gone wrong and as a consequence, breakfast was offered only in the restaurant. The assortment there was between good and very good, which I'm sure wouldn't have been the case in the lounge. The lounge had already disappointed the previous evening. I went shortly before 18:00 just to make sure that food would still be available when I was expecting to have the time, just after 19:00. The employee said yes, but there was virtually nothing left when returned; she might have had the courtesy to mention that they would stop replenishing dishes, but this would have required some thought from the guest's perspective. The gym was not so great, either; from a large and modern Marriott I'd expect better. All in all, acceptable, but if breakfast in the lounge is as meager as I suspect, then I would probably not favor this property.

Good little hotel Usual bugbear I still expect linen to be changed daily, bugger the planet. If you do not discount, change the sheets. I do not use the same sheets 3 days running at home. Greenwash

I stayed at the hotel for a business trip and was extremely impressed by how helpful the staff were. I left a poster I needed for a meeting behind in my room and realized this only when I got to the meeting--called the hotel, they went into my room, got the poster and put it in a taxi to my meeting spot. That was amazing. We also had a late cancellation for a guest due to unavoidable reasons and the hotel was very gracious in accommodating. The room itself is comfortable and spacious. The downside for me is location in terms of convenience to the city center. The hotel is right by a bus stop but one needs to switch to another bus to make it to the city which takes a little time. Other than that, comfortable stay. Thank you again to the Ramada hotel staff for great customer service.

The view outside the hotel window is very beautiful. You can watch the sunset and sunrise of Lake Geneva while lying down. The transportation is very convenient. The train station is a few dozen meters behind the hotel. You can take the train to the central train station of Geneva or to Geneva Airport. You need to bring some cash. The machine is broken on the return trip and will not accept cards. Only cash is accepted. There is a super large supermarket downstairs of the hotel, which is very convenient for shopping. Be sure to book a room with large glass floor-to-ceiling windows on both sides. The view is so healing!

I was travelling for business but my husband and I stayed for a few extra days in Geneva. The Ibis was booked by the University and I was delighted to have all the amenities I needed. The hotel was clean, the food good, and the service superior. I want to especially thank Noemi, who welcomed us at reception and made our stay seamless. She went the extra mile helping us with trams, and seeing the highlights of Geneva. I travel a great deal and it makes a difference to have someone like Noemi be warm and efficient. I would stay at an Ibis again!

Das Hotel zieht sicher viele Besucher an, die den hohen Zimmerpreisen in Genf entgehen wollen. Anders als auf den Buchungsportalen präsentiert, sind die Zimmer doch ziemlich klein. Ich musste mich jedesmal mit Mühe zwischen Bett und Fernseher hindurchquetschen. Das Personal ist freundlich, man sieht nur selten welches, die Rezeption ist meistens unbesetzt und wird vom benachbarten Restaurant mit bedient. Es gibt einen großen gemeinsamen Parkplatz. Die Umgebung ist sehr industriell. Das Highlight ist das asiatische Restaurant, welches abends viele Gäste anzieht. Wer nur übernachten will, ist im Woods Hôtel gut aufgehoben; in langer Erinnerung wird es wahrscheinlich nicht bleiben.

The room was one of the cleanest we’ve ever stayed. We booked a couples massage which due to unforeseen absence of one of the masseurs was not possible but the staff did their best to make up for it and handled it in the best way possible, also upgraded our room. The single massage itself was average and the wellness area much smaller and less equipped as expected but i guess it’s still the best possible for such a small place. The area itself is very quiet, perfect for walking or cycling in the silence. The view from the room was unfortunately quite dull due to the renovation of the pool. Breakfast and dinner in the restaurant is great. Overall, we were happy with our stay despite the circumstances, the staff is doing their best.

Lovely new YOTEL hotel. This was my first time in Geneva but I frequently stay at the YOTEL in NYC. This hotel is much smaller that their NYC hotel but WOW WOW WOW. Gorgeous rooms, lovely staff, friendly service and superb views of the mountains and lake. Their restaurant is also beautiful and the food is great! The rate represented great value and we loved our stay. We hope to be back in the future.
