All that you want from a little hostel like this one: perfect location, impeccable cleanliness, nice hosts, all the basic amenities. Will probably go back again.

Great location near Komtar. Staff were very warm and friendly. Dorm was private and cozy.

I’m from Thailand, I‘m traveling alone, I booked the room on the same day that I arrive. The receptionist who is the owner very nice and kind to me. I strongly recommend this hotel to everyone. Bed dirty and the floors too, very dark at night so be careful if you want to go shower

Very friendly staff, clean space and quiet but social downstairs sitting area. Would have appreciated a free towel, other than that everything was great, especially the location! 5min away from china town!

There was abit of mildew smell on the first night. One bed was lopsided. Real situation of the guesthouse is abit different from photo

Good choice to travel to Penang

Currently, as I start my world tour, it is the most friendly, warm, and perfect place. Every single space here is full of consideration for visitors. Even if I wake up at night and go to the bathroom, the sensors react and turn on the lights. Even in the room, even the bathroom/shower room that I have to walk down to. In other places, even if someone is sleeping, the whole room lights up, which is embarrassing, but not here. There is also a personal locker under the bed. All accommodations should benchmark this place. The last and most powerful thing is. The friendly owner and staff. I have never seen such friendly people in my life. In this hot weather, my heart warmed up..I was so hot that I wanted to open a guesthouse later. The best service foan. He became my friend. He was the best. You all will miss him💌

Last minute booking for accommodation here. The location is very strategic because it is close to Komtar, Gama supermarket, restaurants and for Muslims staying here is close to the mosque (simpang enam mosque). I stay in the dorm and in terms of soundproofing it is not soundproof at all. You can hear the carts passing by outside and you can even hear people next door. Many facilities are provided by the owner of this guest house such as a kitchen, filtered water, washing machine etc. Check in was quite smooth and easy plus no deposit needed for my booking. Overall for me this place is very suitable for solo travelers or even for budget travelers.
