Good price and spacial room. near to public transportation, around 20min walk to cenywre.

The space is clean despite the location a bit far from the centre (~20min walk). The room is spacious and the staff is helpful.

+: 1) The staff of the reception is efficient and patient. She helped us check-in fast and explained to us the travel of the town. 2) The facilities of the hotel is much enough. They have gym room, other entertainment at the lobby. Also there are tables with USB port and free drinkable water at the lobby where you can work or chill at. 3) Inside the room, everything is clean enough. It is not noisy at night. The most impressive is that they have different cooking equipment in the room such as pans, microwave, electric stoves and other bowls and dishes so that we can cook. 4) The location is not far: 5 min walk from Gent Dampoort and 15 min walk to town. -: 1) There are not much supermarket or grocery stores near the hotel.

Great hotel. Nice and modern apartments with a small kitchen equipped with everything you need. Soft bed with snow-white linens. On the minus 1st floor there is a small laundry room, for 2 euros you can wash and dry for 2 euros. Friendly and helpful staff at the reception. Of the minuses: cleaning and changing of linen and towels are paid. Location: Dampoort station, Flixbus bus stop and supermarket are a 5-minute walk away. The city center is about 15 minutes on foot. I recommend.

The newly opened hotel in 2023 has very new facilities. There is a kitchen where you can cook noodles or something. The room is clean and tidy, the service staff is very friendly, the room size is moderate, the location is very close to the train station, the transportation is convenient, and it is not far from the city center, you can reach it on foot. Apartment we booked reminded me of my staying in Japan… Everything has a place and everything in its place. What’s required for 4 persons to sleep and bath are just machined to fit in and anything extra is available on payment… all are neat and clean. But, what stands out in this hotel is the hospitality of the staff… Almost all Staff are trained and tuned to address the customers in a professional way. Here I found a little extra. Attitude, service with smile. Never get irritated even for the silly queries or so. To name a few, Tessa, Innike, Xxxx, Yyyy were all so responsive and supportive to ensure you’re comfortable. So are the kitchen staff- Thai Lady, Philippines Chef and everyone. They not only serve but ensure that those who are still around at closing time, pick up their wants and Shut down. At the bar counter, forget the name, I asked for coffee and she came middle of her lunch and gave Any place or organization gets its name and pride by the staff on the ground and here they are. Keep it up Team. Some areas that could be improved upon. 1. Trash can be kept outside the rooms and house keeping staff can pick it up instead of guests bringing it down as If they litter all the way, it’d be a big mess. 2. For coffee/ tea making, since no house keeping comes around, there has to be a system where guests can pick up Tea, Coffee, Sugar and milk as required with a sense of ownership 3. Breakfast menu and dinner menu could be subtly changed to set the surprise expectations. 4. In the apartment, instructions to operate the Induction stove could help guests to be self starters. 5. Travel help- There could be stickers or posters showing your current location, how to get to important attractions / Places, Bus / train timings etc., Thank you team. Look forward to coming back.

We stayed in this accommodation with two couples for three nights. First the positive: The rooms are fairly new, have a concrete look and are relatively stylish. If you like that, you'll feel at home in these rooms. Otherwise, we have nothing positive to report. The very young staff gave the impression of "Jugend forscht". Without wanting to offend the young people, it would be a great advantage if the management assigned a few older, more experienced colleagues to the team. When we checked in, we received our access cards to the rooms, but discovered that they hadn't been cleaned at all. Overall, the cleanliness was definitely in need of improvement. When we complained about an extremely dirty, almost moldy shower curtain, it was removed, but we weren't given a new one. There is no active service in the bar and the adjoining lounge area; you have to be active yourself to order and collect drinks. The crowning glory of everything is the breakfast, for which we paid 14 euros per person per day: - toast and one type of white bread or baguette; no dark bread or rolls - scrambled eggs from a TetraPak; no boiled eggs, let alone fried eggs or similar - a few lonely oranges or even a stray apple; no selection of fruit - sausage and cheese, about three types each, obviously from packaging; no fresh sausage or cheese We are by no means demanding, but what is advertised here as a rich breakfast buffet is a mockery. Our recommendation: If you book this youth hostel packaged as a hotel out of necessity, then definitely do without breakfast and make your own evening drinks selection in advance, or better yet, plan the evening or the entire stay somewhere else. We will never book this accommodation again
