Atlantis Oceanfront Inn Gloucester

You will not find a cleaner, more welcoming and friendly environment! The view of the ocean is amazing! The pool is surrounded by such beautiful landscape. The cafe has the very best breakfast, the eggs Benedict being my favorite. It is our happy place

Love, love, love this hotel. The views are stunning, the rooms were well appointed and clean. We had a top floor end unit and it was perfect. We had chairs out front and there was a sign to not travel to other people’s rooms that way for privacy. We stayed two nights and took the train in to Salem for the day. Breakfast was great and the front desk staff were pleasant and accommodating. Will definitely be back!

Overall a well run hotel. Been here many times. Here are the pros and cons. Pros - good people and well run; clean: regularly updated and maintained; nice pool with good chairs and umbrellas; amazing location with wonderful views. Cons - at breakfast, which is usually good, the potatoes weren’t fresh, the sausages weren’t cooked all the way and they only serve Pepsi (gross) - need to get Coca-cola products immediately - nobody likes Pepsi - get rid of it; only extended late checkout a half hour; need transportation shuttle to and from beach.

View was amazing and pool was nice too. Have a breakfast cafe that was well worth it, and desk staff helped was great places for dinner, museum, and castle imported from Europe where we attended a wedding. Exceptional experience all around.

The Atlantis is one of my favorite hotels I’ve ever stayed in, at my age I am working through my travel bucket list and have stayed in many places, so that is saying a lot! Of all the places I have stayed, this is definitely my happy place and the one I look forward to the most! The front desk staff is very helpful, friendly, knowledgeable and accommodating. Making reservations, requesting a specific room and check in are all a breeze. I usually stay on the second floor, the room is very nice, comfortable and very very clean with some fresh new updates! Big shout out to cleaning staff, they do a phenomenal job in a timely and respectful manner. TV, Wi-Fi, AC and fridge all work well. Beds are comfy, and bathroom is well stocked and large enough. Windows, and balcony are spotless! Of course the view from room and balcony is awesome! Ocean and rocks, sunrise is beautiful, and you can hear the sound of the ocean. So relaxing to sit on the balcony or even enjoy the view and sound from inside your room! The grounds of the hotel are spotless, maintenance staff does a fabulous job with flowers, landscaping, and keeping everything neat, tidy and spotless. I also really like that they fly the American flag in the front! Breakfast in Café is delicious, with a wide selection. Chefs, hostess and wait staff are all top-notch, friendly and efficient! Hotel is in a great location, easy walk or bike ride down to good harbor beach, close to downtown Gloucester for good food and shopping! So nice to come back to hotel after eating great seafood and taking a beautiful evening walk on sidewalk. I often times come here solo, feel very safe and secure. Sometimes my husband and son join me, they love it as much as I do! It is perfect for a serene solo getaway, fun girls trip, or romantic getaway. Honestly, this hotel is run like a well oiled machine, in tip-top shape from stem to stern.

This was a very nice hotel and the room was as advertised. We were in the middle room 112. The bathroom sink was clogged and the lock on the door to the outside porch flimsy. Anyone could have broken into that room. However we would come back as the location was perfect and the ocean view lovely. I’d like to be able to use the pool later in the summer. Service was great especially at the front desk. Breakfast was excellent.

This was the second time my husband and myself stayed at the Atlantis Oceanfront Inn. This stay was just as wonderful. This property is refreshing, clean, wonderful staff, breakfast cafe, great parking area and the guest rooms have your own entrance with a beautiful ocean front view. You can see the fisherman putting there traps in the ocean. Bring your binoculars. The sunrise is spectacular. The breakfast is delicious with great service. This Inn is close to town and close to the sights you are going to want to see.

We were very pleased with the room. It was very clean and the bed was comfortable. Staff was very friendly and check in/out was very fast and efficient. I would absolutely recommend a stay here. The view from the room was gorgeous and loved our private patio.
