The Corbin Guest House

It was a wholesome stay. The toilet, room and garden were spotless. The staffs are friendly. These are the aspects that I look forward to when I’m traveling. I was looking forward to have a better experience in Maldives. This hit a massive mark. I will indefinitely visit next time.

We had a very good time with Shaiga, Isman and their family in Goidhoo. The rooms and common area of the guesthouse are surrounded by beautiful gardens and it was really quiet. Shaiga and Isman made us feel at home and were always here to help whenever we needed. They offered a tour of the island when we arrived, bikes to go around the island, and excursions to go fishing and snorkeling. We had a great time on this beautiful island, surrounded with beautiful people. We highly recommend The Corbin Guesthouse to whoever would want to live a authentic Maldivian holidays. Shaiga, see you again to play another game of Skyjo! 😁

We have had an absolutely amazing time at The Corbin Guest House. The 103 room was coisy and spotless, with woody décor and crisp bed sheets. The property is like a little oasis in the heart of village: full of exotic plants (plants are cared of by owners' mum) and with shell and wood decor. The local breakfast was delicious mostly made of local fruits and fishes in traditional style. The guest house owners: Shaia and Ajman were attentive, friendly, helpful and went out of their way to ensure that we were comfortable. They made us feel very welcome. Thanks to them and whole their family we have experienced an exceptional local culture adventure. It was beyond our expectations. We especially enjoyed common chat, local dance, fishing, we even were invited for a grandpa's birthday party. Obviously it is worth to visit Goidhoo for its enviromental attractions: here you may go to the exotic forest, visit local farmers' area, see how grow bananas or papayas. You may find great, secluded bikini beach with some crystal clear sea waters. Are you looking for sea waters attractions? Ask for manta and coral excursions, we loved it. In general we are very satisfied and I highly recommend you a real islanders' life experience in Maledives!
