Excellent service, checked in early, responded to all requests quickly. They brought an iron to the room. The room itself is not big, it's time to do cosmetic repairs. Delicious breakfast, varied.

A bit off the center (Malioboro & Kraton), so you need a taxi to go there (Grab). Close o Raminten and Sandi Museum (worth to see). The staff are friendly and helpful. It is a minimalistic hotel, so don't expect a luxurious room. However, you got all you need as a guest. Cleanliness is the most important criterium for me, next to the bedcomfort etc. Fave passed that easily. To my pleasant surprise, when I got back, I saw a bord filled with brownies and text expressing the hotel appreciation that we stay there for 5 days... Very nice gesture. Much appreciated.

In 2019, I brought my friends along, and in 2020, I returned with my mum and her friends. This year in 2024, I came back with my mum and husband, and once again, we had an amazing stay. The favehotel Malioboro in Yogyakarta is a modern hotel. The rooms are small and minimalistic. There is no fridge or hairdryer in the bathroom. The breakfast buffet is well laid out and the staff are very friendly and helpful.
