Great little hotel in a fantastic location in Goreme just off the main strip. Super helpful staff, great breakfast, nice rooftop terrace and a great place to view the hot air balloons (when you're not in them). Would definitely stay here again.

The location was very good, there were many cheap and delicious restaurants nearby. It also had a terrace from which you could see the whole view of Cappadocia, and the breakfast venue was on the terrace, so you could enjoy the beautiful view.

Breakfast is served buffet style. It's delicious. There was honey as Turkey is a country of flowers. It was chilly, but the cats came over as usual while I was eating outside. I always carried cat food with me during my stay in Turkey, so I played with them a little. The owner also tried hard to listen to my poor English and was very accommodating when I asked questions. The room was also clean. In terms of Japanese quality, it's about 75 points, which is a good enough score. The wiring for the outlet was slightly visible, but it didn't bother me. I was always bothered by this during my stay in Turkey, but it takes a trick to open the room door (you have to open it while pulling the door). I was helped by a Westerner in the room next door. It's a fun memory.

The room has Turkish characteristics and the breakfast is also good. The price-performance ratio is very good! The boss is very enthusiastic!

This is a B&B-style hotel, and it is relatively cost-effective among similar hotels in Cappadocia. The hotel manager speaks good English and is very enthusiastic, willing to help tourists solve some problems. The only thing that is not very good is that the bathroom basically has no windows and no exhaust fans, so it is easy for the smell to linger after using the toilet.

I really liked the hotel, convenient location, observation decks nearby, to which people ran in the morning to look at the balls. But in this hotel you can stay in the morning and see everything from the terrace, the views are the same as on the observation deck and you don't have to get up early. Enough space to park a car. The rooms themselves are not in a cave, but are made to look like a cave a little. There is a refrigerator, a kettle, slippers are provided, in the refrigerator there are bottles of water for each person. Incredibly beautiful territory and a cute dog of the owner, which no one passes by. I recommend this hotel.

There was no internet on the first day, but the internet was slow on the second day. There was no elevator and I had to carry my luggage.

When we arrived the elderly man on duty had no idea how to check our pre booking. I sked if I could use their rest room and he said no the rooms are all full. I explained I just wanted to use their reception rest room. He ignored me. Ultimately a younger man came along and showed me where the rest room was, it was dirty. We returned to the hotel at the end of a days tour and shown our room. There was a dirty stain on the cover of the bed. I went downstairs and asked the manager to change the cover which he did. We then noticed there was mould on the ceiling, a broken window and the bathroom floor was filthy. I had wiped a damp face wipe on the floor and it was black. We rang our agent and asked them to get us out of there. The elderly man came to our room and started being aggressive and argumentative. Our agent told us the hotel was offering another room and we needed to look at it. We did, it was better but still not clean. Our agent found us another Hotel close by, Lucky Cave Hotel which was very clean and welcoming. When my partner tried to return the key at Goreme House Hotel the elderly man refused to take it so my partner left it on the desk. This was a horrible experience. There are 100s of hotels in Goreme. Book elsewhere.

Goreme House is conveniently located, has good breakfast, and helpful staff. Unfortunately, however, the wood floors are basically sounding boards that turn every evening and morning into a thundering herd. If you try to go to bed early, you will be awakened by folks coming back from the bars and restaurants at 11-12 pm. Then at 4:30 am, the ballooners get up and stomp around for an hour or so before they finally take off. Maybe this noise is not so much of a problem on the upper floors, but on the lower floors, it is a living hell.
