Overall good but will bullet point pros and cons. - All staff fantastic and helpful - Good standard of cleanliness throughout - Good choice of pools, all clean - Nice calm laid back atmosphere - Good sized room with safe use included - Good air con in the room - Evening entertainment very poor unless you’re a child, the animation team work tirelessly but it’s clear the hotel aren’t spending on brining in acts. - Tea and coffee in room never replenished Opening times of restaurant in the evening was erratic Really enjoyed the holiday but too many bits to warrant a 4 star, talking with other guests who’d been prior, it seems like LIVVO’s take over has been done with a reduced budget in mind. Would go back as price was good and the cons are minimal.

So we arrived at the hotel very late evening and two huge cockroaches welcomed us in from of the hotel 🤣 luckily there is no cockroaches around the hotel (maybe seen 2 in our 10 days stay). Our room was 337 on the ground floor and we had a terrace with sunbeds and entrance straight to the swimming pool which was cool. Room was clean, bathroom big and with both bath and shower which is also very good. Shower had a little mould around but think it is normal. If I can advise you KEEP YOUR BATHROOM WINDOW CLOSED 😵‍💫 one day while I was in bathroom cleaning lady didn't hesitate to look through and ask me if I want cleaning which is not acceptable! We had a Do not disturb at the door anyway 🙄 we did not make a complaint but think we should have. Cleaning servise don't speak english which is very difficult to communicate with. In room is small fridge, kettle, tv and AC. There is SPAR shop just across from the hotel if anyway need anything. So food very poor if I am honest. Only pizza is really good 🤣 alcohol no comment (that's why we know where shop is🤣). Fake grass around the hotel is disgusting 🤮 a lot of cats as well (no problem for us as we are cats lovers). They kept coming in our room when we left balcony door open (especially Gordo) 🐈‍⬛ Life guards not even interested in their job and mostly not there anyway. No place to leave, no more needed floaties which is bad as so many was going to bin while could be used by other kids. Animation team FANTASTIC, Kevin, Claudia and Sheila so energetic and positive people. We all loved them so much and had a lot of fun 👏 all games were very competitive but although it was fun to had a laugh- we all brought 11 certificates 🤣 I am sure everyone was tired of my partner Henry who was winning all of them 🙋‍♀️🤣 we met there so many people from around the world and all of them knew Henry well and greeting him all day round which was funny 🤣 Pool bar cool and working there Carlos fantastic, my favourite barman 🍸 there is a Polish lady called Ida at the reception, she is really helpful. She was getting us big taxi (was 7 of us) every time and sorted us quads and recommended us some places to visit. We did parasailing from the near beach (7 mins by taxi) and boat (glass boat, 🐬 dolphins, snorkeling, banana boat, jet2) booked by GetYourGuide app. While been on the beach we also walked to see their famous dune of Maspalomas. We didn't enjoy stay at the beach as waves were very high and water was quite cold. Sand was very soft and save- unfortunately no mussels 😕 a lot of shops there to buy memorabilia or do braids, tattoo, nails, massage etc There is free bus from hotel to the beach side and Aqualand- but only once a day. That's why we used taxi. Aqualand really cool for any age. We've been there twice. Beacuse our stay in Koala was 10 days we got free vouchers for unlimited entrance to this water park. Food was awful, bed was broke,informed them I had heart failure and my daughter had a young baby and just had a c section yet they never told us there was no ramps & you had to carry the pram up & down 2 flights of stairs every time you went out, all inclusive is a joke kept running out of food which wasn’t a bad thing as it was disgusting, the staff were so rude, seriously don’t waste your money

We stayed at this hotel for our honeymoon and don’t believe the bad reviews there is nothing wrong with this hotel what’s so ever the only negative thing is it’s a bit far out from the main centre, but the buses and taxi’s are cheap and reliable. The staff are all very friendly from reception to bar to chefs cleaning staff very lovely people. Entertainment team are amazing they are a credit to this hotel so full of energy and get everybody involved in all the games, one of the best entertainment teams we have ever met. Other people in the hotel are really nice as well everyone just enjoying there holiday and making friends with everyone we met some lovely people. Rooms are lovely very big and everything you need 2 showers fridge and great air con and the safe is free to use and also getting pool towels is a bonus never had this in a hotel before. Food is your normal all inclusive food which I don’t mind your are having your food cooked for you every day what more could you want, you always find something to eat and never go hungry and the bbq snack bar is a bonus. Drinks really good cocktails included and very nice they even do cider which you don’t see very offten. When we arrived the hotel had even left a bottle of champagne in are room as it was our honeymoon, thank you very much koala gardens we had the best time and would love to come back, please don’t listen to any bad reviews for the price you pay it’s an amazing place can not fault it at all. Just got back from my week long holiday here and I wish it had never ended! I went all inclusive with my sister which was ideal for us. The rooms were a brilliant size containing everything we needed and had a lovely balcony. There were a couple of days where the water wasn’t as hot in the shower, but that never bothered us as it was so hot outside, a cooler shower was refreshing. Daily cleaning was to a good standard and the air con kept our room cold during the day and at night. The restaurant food was a little repetitive but as a fussy eater myself, there was always something I liked. There was also a bbq bar where you could get burgers, hot dogs and pizza at lunch time as well as an Italian buffet restaurant which was a nice change from the main buffet some nights. Again, there was a variety of different drinks that you could help yourself to or a bar that served different alcoholic ones. Facilities were well maintained and there were plenty of different pools, some quieter than others. The entertainment was brilliant all through the day and at night, special shout out to Claudia, Sheila and Kevin who really made our stay that bit more enjoyable with their friendly approach, great sense of humour, inclusivity and variety of activities. The kids clubs they ran also looked great for the younger children. All in all, this was a lovely hotel in a good location not far from the airport, with a waterpark and amusement/fairground near by. There was also a daily shuttle bus to the beach if you wanted to have a day out there. Overall an amazing experience, I didn’t want to leave, so I hope to return one day.

Just home from a stay at Livvo Koala Gardens we spent a week from the 8-15th of September as a family of 4, 2 adults and 2 children 3 & 1 + another 2 adults in a separate room. My honest opinion would be that while the hotel may have several minor faults I’d be hard pressed to find anything that would prevent me from returning again. We arrived late at night and at first walk around in a darkened environment was a little unsure at first, the pools all seemed deep and trying to figure out the layout at first was difficult. However the following morning we went for breakfast and my opinion began to change, the animation team work hard to get people involved and at times it was a struggle for them though the hotel at times did seem less busy than I’d have expected for the time of year. The hotel has a small park which my kids loved and it was right beside the room my mum and sister were staying in so the kids enjoyed being able to play in the park and walk over to their room. We were located in zone 1 close to reception which overlooked the restaurant and it was fairly quiet. The other room overlooked the entertainment area so was a bit louder there at night though entertainment is over by 11pm so was no big deal. The food can be a bit repetitive and if you’re not a fan of fish sometimes there’s not a lot of options. The Italian restaurant you need to book was lovely and definitely worth a visit. The snack bar was also handy for keeping the kids fed if whatever was on the menu wasn’t to their taste. The splash zone is great for young kids my one year old had a great time filling up the reusable cups from the bar and pouring it over herself. The few downsides to the hotel were: Cats - the hotel keeps cats so they’re everywhere, I don’t mind cats but occasionally we did find cat faeces on the outskirts of the hotel grounds, I do think the cleaners were removing this as they found them however but not great when there’s kids playing. Cockroaches - in the evening especially again the outskirts round the hedges came across a few cockroaches most evenings and one in the room on one occasion, we were ground floor and there’s a gap under the door - ideally a brush ***** would be on the bottom of the door to prevent pests entering. Food - can be a little repetitive but no issues with quality, water, slush and cocktail machines all experienced down time at various stages of the holiday. Isolated - with the exception of a spar and holiday world there’s not a lot close by with regard to shops but there are buses and taxis to take you where you need to go or if you’re inclined a walk of around a mile or so will get you to more lively locations. Astroturf - all around the pool areas are covered in astro turf, with the heat and drinks being spilled - heat etc it can have a bit of a smell now and again. In spite of the bad points listed we still had a great time and I think if the hotel could improve on a few of these it would make a huge difference to some
