Tornato per la seconda volta con la famiglia. Ambiente d'altri tempi, dove regna il silenzio ed il tono basso della voce. Camera ampia e pulitissima, peccato l'affaccio delle due finestre. Bagno con tre ambienti separati (doccia-wc-lavabo). Colazione con dolci da capogiro, produzione di una pasticceria locale. Buona anche la scelta del salato. Punto di partenza per i classici giri sul colli romani. Da non disdegnare la permanenza anche se si vuole visitare Roma. A pochi minuti la metropolitana per il centro. Consiglierei soggiornare in questa bomboniera piuttosto che nella capitale, La signora che gestisce la struttura veramente deliziosa. Sorridente, gentile con grande garbo vi accompagna nella vostra permanenza. Assolutamente da provare. Bravi tutti. Farò altra recensione per il ristorante collegato e gestito dal marito.

Quality family-run hotel with beautiful rooms and lovely bathrooms decorated with mosaics. All very clean. Good breakfast. Airconditioning works well. Excellent restaurant with local specialties. Friendly service. Centrally located in Grottaferrata near the San Nilo Abbey. Also a good base to explore the Castelli Romani. Recommended !

Piccolo ma curatissimo hotel in ottima posizione. Parcheggio gratuito davanti all'albergo. Il punto forte di questa struttura è la cura degli interni con finiture di alto livello. Camere ben arredate e bagni com materiali eccellenti. Personale molto gentile e premuroso. La colazione si distingue per prodotti freschi di pasticceria e non i soliti dolci industriali che si trovano in altri hotel, per i cibi salati è necessario ordinarli espressamente. Nel complesso consigliato.

Beautiful grounds with unique rooms and features. The rooms are small but have everything you need and the front desk does their absolute best to accommodate. Excellent food and gelato within a 5 minute walk in an extremely quiet and quaint neighborhood. A quick 20 minute bus ride to the Rome Metro station and another 20 minute train to Rome. Come here if you want to be close to Rome but not IN Rome! Bed is on the firmer side but very comfortable. Only complaint was air conditioning (cooling) was not available due to the whole hotel being on the winter system. Seems like only heating or only cooling is available - however this is common to older hotels in Rome. Wifi was very poor but not an huge issue. Overall had a great stay!!

Period-style authentic boutique hotel in centre of Grottaferrata. Owners were ever present and very pleasant. Restaurant has huge reputation and deservedly so. The food was outstanding. Breakfast, however, was a strange experience and served by the receptionist in the foyer of the hotel rather than the dining area. Would strongly recommend - but skip breakfast!

After checking in and seeing our room, we discovered that it was not the demi-suite we booked and that the air conditioning in the hotel was not functional. When I addressed our concerns to the front desk, they offered us another room on the first floor which was slightly cooler but still had no AC and still extremely warm. It was also smaller than the room we booked. We decided to leave and booked a room elsewhere. I felt like we were being taken advantage of as American tourists.

Chambre absolument pas insonorisée, au rez-de-chaussée, près de l'entrée. Des canalisations en PVC passent dans le plafond. Entre le bruit de la rue, le va et vient des clients, la mise en place du petit-déjeuner (qui se prend dans le hall), l'évacuation des douches et chasses d'eau à toutes heures, nous n'avons pas pu dormir ! C'est inadmissible de proposer une telle chambre ! Petit déjeuner médiocre.
