Beausite Hotel

We have just had a really lovely stay at the Beausite Hotel. It is situated within easy reach of the beautiful seaside village of Gorey and close to St. Helier. The rooms are spacious and comfortable and we have no complaints about the beds, as some people have stated. The restaurant is excellent! Breakfasts offer many choices and the service is always very good. We ate dinner here on several occasions and were very impressed with both the choice available and the quality of the food. The indoor swimming pool was an added bonus and there are lots of options for relaxing around the hotel, both inside and outside. We would definitely recommend a stay here!

We booked a 4 night last minute holiday, and we were not disappointed. The hotel is about 20 minutes walk from Gorey Harbour, where there are some eating establishments and bars. If you don't fancy the walk there is a bus stop just opposite the hotel. You can also reach St Hellier from here, bus times around 30 minutes depending on which bus you get on. The hotel itself is really nice, and there is an indoor pool and sauna which is a bonus. There is a bar, but this only seemed to open in the evening, this may be because we were in late season. The room was good, the bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was good and our room had a bath and a shower which was nice. Most of the rooms as far as I could tell look out onto the garden area or have a sea view, ours had the sea view. Breakfast was great, all the usual things, and the cooked breakfast was ordered and bought to your table. For the price, we couldn't fault it, top marks Beausite.

Just spent 3 nights at the beausite and have no complaints. The staff were all lovely especially Diana. Nothing was to much trouble. Restaurant food was more than decent and the breakfast was up there with the best. If we were to return to Jersey it would definitely be back to the Beausite.

Lovely hotel with friendly helpful staff. Hotel guests appeared over 60yrs old and we did not see any one younger here. Beausitehotel is ideally placed for a lovely walk into Gorey (about 25mins walk) or the bus stops right outside. Should you not wish to eat here, there is a lovely pub that also serves delicious food right opposite on main road, with decent prices and the food there is amazing too. There are also two shops within walking distance, a co op and a iceland that also has a petrol station. Also the infamous Entwistles fish and chip shop in gorey (near Maison Gorey hotel). Close to golf course. We decided to have a Sunday roast here at the Beausite hotel, the waiting on staff were absolutely lovely, however we were sadly not impressed with their roast potatoes which were served warm, very dry and so anaemic, to say the least, (decent roasties should always be served hot, crispy and brown), gravy was watery. So after this meal, we didn't eat here again for evening meals. Slight negatives: Beds are In need of a upgrade (but note the rooms are spotless and were cleaned regularly). Need silent room door closures, as throughout the night, early morning you were woken by doors being slammed. But a lovely hotel and we would stay here again.

We have had many holidays in Jersey as a family back in the 80s and early 90’s but not been back for many years. We had always enjoyed staying in Gorey so decided to book the Beausite Hotel for 5 nights for the 7 of us. Wow! We are so glad we did from the minute we arrived everything was just perfect from our rooms to the food and service. Talking of service I can honestly say we haven’t experienced such fabulous service like that in some of the 5 star hotels we have stayed in, they couldn’t do enough for you from the breakfast staff to the evening meal staff especially Joanna who was a delight they are a credit to the hotel. Breakfast was great plenty of choice from full English to cereals and a choice of pastry’s and all cooked to your liking. We ate twice for dinner again superb food and choices, and our last evening we had the Sunday roast which was delicious. We will definitely be returning and highly recommend this hotel. Thank you!

A charming hotel with delightful staff and extremely peaceful and clean. The food is excellent ditto the bar and pool area. Sadly the quality of the beds negates the entire experience. Sleep is an integral part of a holiday and we got very little sleep. The mattresses were dreadful. Poor quality and impossible to sleep on. I appreciate that it's not viable to install Hypnos quality beds in all rooms but an upgrade is desperately needed. Sadly we were not alone in this as other guests remarked on their sleep deprivation. For this reason only we won't be back. Realistically it would be pointless complaining to management as they are not going to replace a mattress on the spot are they? Such a shame.

Lovely hotel, close to beach and bus stop for excellent all island transport. Beaches were clean, masses of space, clear water. Plenty to do, plenty of places to explore and places to eat. Don't know why we have never been before. Such a short flight from the UK

We stayed at The Beausite Jersey hotel for 4 nights,not been here before,it has been a really nice experience.The rooms are nice and clean,the breakfast is very good,with lots of choices.The lady at the reception Diana is a really nice e pleasant and helpful person.We had an evening meal which took some time to come out of the kitchen,due to My wife wanted her lamb cooked through and this was the reason it took some time,not really sure that was the case,but as an apology we were given a couple of drinks on the house.The bar and kitchen staff are excellent. I would recommend the hotel,there is a very efficient bus service right outside the door,so getting around is really easy.

Stayed here during a 3 day weekend holiday to Jersey with our 6 month old, the staff were extremely helpful and ensured every request of ours - and with a 6mo old, we had a lot - was satisfied. It was frequented by lots of families with young children, a few of them who looked like repeat customers who knew the staff by name. The meals were wonderful too with a decent range of vegetarian options and nice desserts with fresh fruit. The garden is a great place to relax under the sun but also to have your dinner, something you can try asking for. All in all, highly recommend!
