My husband and I went during the rainy season, to CR. For the first few days we stayed in Playa de Coco. Which was a beautiful wild beach, we grabbed a Taxi (old Nissan with bald tires no air conditioner) and flew down the road eating fried chicken. We loved it!! We live in Florida, and grew up in WV. Upon my arrival tears flowed from the beauty of how the place reminds me of the mountains of Appalachia. The cattle, the horses, the tractors, the ranch hands, the Springs, no air conditioner, but plenty of alcohol. all of this is what it's like to grow up outside of Disney land. This place takes you back in time when food was fresh, when men were men. And common sense were the rules of the ranch. I love this place thank you to William at the sunset, to the wait staff you're A+ And thank you for the best vacation of my life my fellow Costa Rican friends at this place. You are very appreciated by wild people like my husband and me

We visited Buena Vista del Rincon in Aug with a large group (12 adults, 12 kids). We went here for the excursion portion only, not the hotel. There are blatant areas they cut corners on here from a safety perspective which is why I am leaving a 1 star review. On the ziplining, they know there are plenty of children that participate but don't take basic safety measures. The platforms that you stand on before getting on a line have HUGE gaps on the handrails, they are easily 2 ft or wider. When kids are there, these gaps are areas of risk where a child can fall through (it almost happened to us). This can be EASILY addressed by including a mesh net or something along those lines to fill the gap but they choose not to. These railings are right over the rainforest, it is about a 30 ft drop from where it is. Horseback riding is not done in safe conditions either. With our large group, they let everyone go at once. We trusted the guides but soon realized they were packing way too many horses on a riding path that wasn't meant for that many horses at once. A horse kicked a child in our group! This was largely due to the unsafe conditions they allowed by pushing that many people onto the path at the same time. They also did not have the proper # of guides for a group of our size. Avoid Buena Visa del Rincon for your excursions!!

De activiteiten (premium day pass) waren over het algemeen erg leuk! De glijbaan, waterval, hotsprings, hangbruggen en het ziplinen waren top! Een dik minpunt vonden we de zielige koe die erg lang stil stond. Daarnaast vonden we de paarden erg zielig! Ze moesten stijle / slechte paden bewandelen.. tip: ga hier GEEN paardrijden!

In het park kun je genieten van prachtige natuur en activiteiten als ook mooie vergezichten (vanuit het restaurant). De 'tsunami' glijbaan door het bos is een beleving en de tractorrit naar de spa, met de tractorchauffeur als dierenspotter, is een hele mooie ervaring. Ook de begeleide wandeling met goede en enthousiaste gids José David is heel interessant. De bewegwijzering/richtingbordjes op het park zorgen weliswaar voor avontuurlijke zoektocht, maar het verblijf en de spa zijn heel goed verzorgd.

We did the day pass for Buene Vista. Our tour guide was Jose David. He was the best! He was knowledgeable about the land, plants and animals. He took his time with us to teach us things about Costa Rica. We enjoyed everything! If you get a chance, request him as a guide!! 5 stars!!

Exelente el lugar y la atencion. Muy ordenado todo muy limpio. Los tours muy buenos. La comida en todos los restaurantes muy buena con un precio accsesible. Definitivamente hace falta un par de noches para poder hacer todas las actividades.

The adventure park was absolutely amazing! My family of 5 went and we did the day pass. We had the most amazing guide ever! Eliézer was absolutely phenomenal. He made sure we got to do every activity including horse back riding, hot springs, waterfall, ziplining, hanging bridges, waterslides, lunch, cultural activities, etc. He was so friendly, kind, funny, and extremely knowledgeable and helpful. He was absolutely the best and made our experience what it was! All of the activities were very family friendly and we all had a blast! We loved getting to experience so many different things within one park! The lunch was also super yummy and had an amazing view. Would 100% recommend this park for the fun activities and amazing staff!
