The room has a very large window, and it feels very bright as soon as you enter the room. Although it is a 1.5m bed, it is fully equipped with bedside tables, desks, luggage tables and even refrigerators. There is free parking downstairs. Although there are only a dozen parking spaces, the cost performance is super high! Just across the street is Xihua Road, which is especially suitable for travel!

The only plus point is the location, which is right near Ximenkou Station on Line 1, a 5-10 minute walk away. There are old Guangzhou restaurants along the way.
The price is low and the room is small, which is understandable. But the facilities are relatively simple, especially the toilets. It's really too crude.
The most important thing is that I don't know if it is a problem with the toilet in the room or the toilet in the adjacent room. Anyway, I smell **** from time to time.
I didn't go back to the hotel to sleep until close to 1 o'clock. I got up and left quickly before 7 o'clock the next morning.
I would rather go to McDonald's in the subway station and wait for someone than stay in my room.

Although it is an old hotrl, tbe room, bed and toilets are clean and are in working condition. Good location. Booked 2 non-smoking rooms but the 2nd room had got cigarette smell.
Hotel customers need to climb a flight of stairs with luggage to the main entrance of the hotel. Not so convenient for tbe elderly and young families with baby strollers etc. The counter and house keeping staff are friendly.

We spend 2 weeks in Guangzhuo. True Go hotel (Qiu Guo Hotel) was the best out of three. The Cleaniness was on spot, our sheets were changed literally everyday, where other hotels tend to change every two days. Manager Zhao made our stay so comfortable that we accidentally booked different room online but he quickly managed to set up more comfortable stay for us. The stuff, including Manager Zhao was helpful and kind every day of our stay. We stayed 7 days in a row. Best Location (not crowded) and clean, not like other parts of Guanzhuo. Totally gonna recommend for the friends and family! ❤️

We normally don’t book such extravagant places , but the price was definitely worth the stay! What an amazing place! The interior decor is outstanding! The room was huge and comfortable! Every thing in the bathroom was clean and the towels thick. Aircon worked well and internet was easy to connect to.
The concierge helped us ship a parcel back to England, everyone was so helpful and have very good English!
It’s close to the metro, park and across the road from restaurants.
The courtyard and swimming pool also added to its charm with gorgeous pools and fish and red flowers!

Arrived early & was glad that 2pm could return for check-in instead of 4pm stated on Trip.com. Mercure at Beijing Road is at prime location with the MRT 5mins away & Tee Mall situated next to it. Being a relatively new year old hotel, rooms & facilities are new too! Like the spacious room with free drinks bar & two types of pillows. The toilet is japanese bidet type & the only small shortfall is the drainage of water in bathroom is slow.
Appreciate that housekeeping refills the mineral water daily as summer heat is intense. The free DIY laundry room at Level 30 is my saviour to wash my clothings before leaving to next city.
Conclude that the room have also one of the best soundproofing as I did not hear any sound from the corridor (despite a notice in room that states might have construction noise & provided ear plugs).
Overall, this Mercure Guangzhou is recommended.

Arrival and Check-in:
Upon booking, I contacted the hotel receptionist who promptly arranged a driver to pick me up from the airport. The transfer service was seamless, and I was pleasantly surprised when I was given a complimentary upgrade upon arrival. The hotel's lobby was immaculate, and the staff courteously showed me to my room, providing a thorough introduction to the hotel's facilities.
Room and Amenities:
The room itself surpassed my expectations. The cleanliness, modern decor, and attention to detail were truly impressive. I particularly appreciated the well-stocked minibar and the 24-hour bar in the lobby, where I could enjoy a wide selection of drinks at any time. I recently stayed at the Kyriad Marvelous Hotel (Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport) for two nights. Unfortunately, my experience fell far short of the positive reviews I read online, which makes me question their authenticity.
**From the very beginning, the check-in process was unpleasant.** The staff displayed a rude and unwelcoming demeanor. When they provided the initial Wi-Fi username and password, it turned out to be incorrect.
**We returned to the lobby to address the Wi-Fi issue.** Instead of simply providing the correct credentials, the staff member became impatient and took our phone to set up the connection themselves. When we politely requested the username and password for our computer, they responded with a dismissive attitude, stating they ”already set it up” and questioned why we needed the information. We explained the initial credentials were wrong, and they finally provided the correct username and password written on a piece of paper, further demonstrating their lack of courtesy.
**Housekeeping was another area of disappointment.** After our first night, we requested room service. Despite confirming our room number and promising to clean the room later, housekeeping never arrived. Returning to the hotel in the evening, we found our room untouched. We ended up having to replenish our own water bottles and toilet paper.
**The airport fetching service we booked was another source of frustration.** We arrived in the lobby early for the arranged pick-up time. However, when the pick-up time approached, we were informed that the car had already left for the airport without us!** There was no apology or explanation for this missed pick-up. Thankfully, another driver was present in the lobby and was able to arrange alternative transportation to ensure we reached the airport on time. This incident was a stressful and concerning experience.
Overall, my stay at the Kyriad Marvelous Hotel was a frustrating one. The staff's unprofessionalism, the lack of housekeeping service, the missed airport pick-up, and the initial Wi-Fi problems significantly detracted from the experience.
**In light of this experience, I would strongly advise potential guests to manage their expectations and consider alternative hotels near the airport that offer reliable airport fetching services and provide a more welcoming atmosphere.**

AAscotThe hotel is spotlessly clean, inside the room especially. Super quiet, did not hear a soul from outside the room. Same goes with watching the airplanes take-off and landing, not a sound at all. The shuttle service is number 1 for personalized service. It is worth staying at, with a bus stop on the road virtually directly out front, great eateries next door as well.

GGuest UserLocation is very convenient. Walkable distance to the river and some parks. There are plenty of places to eat at the hotel or inside the building(k11). The room was nice, better than the hotel photos. On a cloudy day you may feel yourself inside a cloud. The lights of city in the evening are especially good looking from the this hotel. I like the ambiance of this hotel. The vibe is a relaxed sophistication. The artwork in the hallways, elevators and public spaces is very nice. Sometimes, i find the public spaces and hallways of this hotel to be more beautiful than the room, haha. The room is well reserved and relaxing , whereas public spaces are more energetic. Probably, how it should be. The great asset of this hotel is all the staff. And that would be the first reason i will be back to this place. GGuest UserThe hotel is in an excellent location. It is within a reasonable distance from Shangxiajiu Pedestrian Street and Chen Clan Ancestral Hall. It takes more than 10 minutes to walk and 7 minutes to walk to the subway station. The hotel actually occupies three floors of a residential building. The room is really not flattering. There is a bed as soon as you open the door. There is only one bed in the whole room. Two people can only sleep on the bed in the room. There is no place to put it in the room. The toilet is small and pitiful. One person can't take a shower and the other person can't use the toilet. . This is the smallest room I have ever booked on Ctrip. The order indicates that there are windows, but there are no windows, and the area is definitely not 20 square meters. Won’t book again, poor experience

GGuest UserThis is the second time I have visited this Hotel.As always the facilities are excellent,especially the Gym,Jacuzzi,Sauna and indoor hot pool available for both genders.The personell are very hospitable.If I may give some constructive criticism, the lunch self help at the California Restaurant was a bit dissapointing.They should have more variety of meat,and fish.Last time there was Sushi available for dinner, however this time for lunch no Sushi.And lamb or pork or mutton as an extra meat dish.They should also have a dry white wine on the Wine List at a reasonable price.They can contact Me at ************************************* , and I will supply.

location is quite good too. just that the lobby is a little far from drop off point.

SSeh KiatVery good location next to the Beijing Lu Pedestrian Walk. In the older part of the city. The surrounding is very nostalgic yet very well kept by the city.
My room is a river view high floor and it was exactly what I got. Full height window and a Tatami bed. It also came with a washer and a separate dryer. Unfortunately the dryer had to be placed in the bathroom which made it a bit cramp.
The room itself is well maintained and what I suspect to be toiletries left behind by previous occupants are displayed for subsequent travellers.
I had great sleep, unfortunately I could not enjoy the great view because it was fogged out during my stay..
Overall, think Airbnb apartment.
The building is quite aged, so the lifts are a bit slow in coming. Add to that, the entire building seems to be occupied by numerous similar operators.
BTW Check In and service desk is in apartment 1813, at least for now.
